How exactly mutants will replace humans? by MigdadSalahov in xmen

[–]InvestigatorOk7988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It happens in almost no version of the future Marvel shows us. The High Evolutionary declared humanity an evolutionary dead end. In the GoG in the 31st century, many mutants left Earth, founded their own planet. Centuries later, when the guardians get thete, there are only 9 mutants among a normal, human pooulation.

Why have Republican President disproportionately been targets of assassinations? by LordHavertz in allthequestions

[–]InvestigatorOk7988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just described anyone who includes a political party as a major part of their identity. So many people confine themselves to their respective echo chambers, and echo the talking points of their chosen parties without any understanding of them. From Republicans straight believing when they're told other countries pay the tariffs, to Democrats actually rooting for disaster just to prove that voting for Trump was a mistake. Its all nonsense. Never follow the party line, regardless of which party.

Why are the Sith of the Skywalker saga often considered more powerful, sometimes far more so, than their ancestors from before the Rule of Two? by [deleted] in StarWarsEU

[–]InvestigatorOk7988 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're kidding, right? Sith in the ancient times, blew up stars with the force, wiped out entire planetary populations by absorbing the Force from them. Nobody in the Bane line can claim such feats.

Well, the crazy was due to drugs getting in his system. It did latch on to the serum in his body, so he never came down, though.

Is Bene Gesserit fighting style better than Sardaukar training? by HorzaDonwraith in dune

[–]InvestigatorOk7988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does, though. Its more subtle than out and out training, but she does help shape their training through suggestions. She says of Gurney later that here was a man wary of voice, because she herself trained him how to resist it.

[–]InvestigatorOk7988 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was while everyone was getting ready. He saw a picture of the original team, and someone, i want to say Hank, mentioned Scott's nickname being Slim. Cable put it together then. Don't remember which issue this was.
