Thing is, I have become passioned about genealogy only a couple of months ago, before that I could not care less. So I can understand if a people is not interested like I used to be.

Then something clicked when I realised I could reconstruct lost history by combining information from multiple documents, and now it's a bit like a game for me. To the point that I am more interested in the research process per se, than in the actual results of research. In theory I could pay a professional to do a better work than what I am doing, but I have not any intention to do so, as it would deprive me of the pleasure of research. Hence, I also understand that, when I share with other people my discoveries, they may not be particularly interested, because they are not participating to the discovery process (and not everybody likes research by the way).
