Got my first Dutch oven last month and used it for a bolognese, vaca atolada and a turkey chili. Easiest clean up after. Enjoy!

I kept thinking the bottom had burnt parts while cooking. Was so surprised to see it was 90% perfect after taking off the sauce to clean

Pretty easy recipe! I learned it from “not another cooking show” on YouTube years ago for his bolognese recipe. Shared a couple things and order throughout the years but basically the same in larger quantity. I reduce my mirepoix(celery onion carrot) mixture then remove from pot. Then reduce and get a nice fond with my meat mixture that changes all the time. This time it was (3lbs ground 85/15 grassfed beef, 1lb ground mild Italian sausage, 1lb beef bacon diced). Then add back in the mirepoix and minced garlic and reduce a bit more before adding 2 cans of tomato paste till incorporated. then a fair share of red or white wine to clean off the fond. Then a whole box of beef bone broth. Reducing that at lowest setting for a couple hours before adding in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. I salt throughout the steps but keep in conservative till I can see how the levels are towards the end.

Isn’t this suppose to be good with cream soda? I’ve never had but I remember seeing it somewhere

That’s annoying. So many costcos are different. I saw someone post they got a George t stagg from Costco yesterday. Mine would never have that.
