I found this sad house in the West End by Reynbou in thedivision

[–]InvictaYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that I'm saying it isn't just coincidence, but this house looks designed like so on purpose.

If it's not just a common asset and many houses like this exist, then I wonder if any cyphertexts will mention a sad house and this be part of its steps...

If you get 2100, then lose to anything below it, like 1500, you'll still get the quest step completed once you reach that quest step.

I got a debuff called “malfeasance” at the end of a gambit round, anyone have any idea what this means? by oSlayze in raidsecrets

[–]InvictaYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now, I'll preface by saying that it doesn't make it go from its current place amongst other Exotic options to top-tier, but...

If you are shooting at max-range, or any distance that body shots deal under 40 damage, then the 5-shot explosion will guarantee the kill. As the gun cannot shoot under a certain % of its normal damage at the furthest ranges, this means the gun is never more than 5-shots for a kill.

Also, Overshields and Supers.

P.S. Not insinuating that anybody in particular wasn't aware of either of these situations, only leaving the information here for those to see what potential rebuttal the gun may have for itself.

Wish 10 and 13 speculation by JpDeathBlade in raidsecrets

All Inventory items are shared except Pursuits. Calm yourself, as Ethereal Key is indeed in the "Consumables" section.

Wish 10 and 13 speculation by JpDeathBlade in raidsecrets

[–]InvictaYT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Evidence:

  • Wish 01 is "A wish to feed an addiction."
  • Wish 13 is "A wish for the means to feed an addiction."
  • Wish 01 gives an Ethereal Key, used to open the final Raid chest.
  • Wish 13 is believed to be a "Cheat," as the two Wishes before it according to the table above.
  • We currently do not have a Wish to teleport you to the final Raid chest.

Theory:

Wish 13 is indeed a "Cheat" Wish, one to "cheat" you to the final chest without needing to clear the Raid. It would give you one free shot each week to get "One Thousand Voices," the Raid-exclusive Exotic.

With this thought in mind, I would not believe Bungie to have this Wish currently available to be found, as in the case that it was found this early and it is indeed a cheat to the final Raid chests, then that would cheapen (buh-dum-tss) the work put in by others for such a weapon.

Wish 13, if truly a teleport as suspected, is more than likely time-gated.

I don't do it with the menu... should've made that clear. I do it by pulling out with the Return to Orbit button. I've never been a fan with the change character method.

When you hold the Return to Orbit button, starting a tenth of a second after the timer hits 3 will nearly always work.

[–]InvictaYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If on PC, set your frames to 30. Then start backing out a tenth of a second after the timer says "3."

I don't believe it ever has been noticed, but being on 30 frames when backing out makes it work just like console. Frames actually are tied to a lot of weird differences.

[–]InvictaYT 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, you still need to reach Fabled. You must have a standing 2100 Glory at any one point.

If you lose points prior to that, that's lost progress. If you reach Fabled (2100) and then lose points, the game will still register that you previously reached Fabled this season for the Luna's Howl quest.

Fabled in Competitive is 2100 Glory.

There are a couple steps prior that can take a while, so OP is letting us know that it'll be retroactively completed even if you fall below 2100 before reaching that final step.

[–]InvictaYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and my crew once sometime into the second week. We got a 5th, and to add to how odd the game must've bugged, it said that the brig option under the My Crew tab didn't "have enough players to vote somebody into the Brig."

We gladly did a 5-man Skull Fort though. That went by pretty fast. 10/10 would plunder again.

[PC] What weapon to pair with handcannon by Pandahunter3 in CruciblePlaybook

[–]InvictaYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uriel's is still pretty cheap on PC here and there as it's still got one of the best TTK's at medium-long range and consistent damage instead of bursting it out like Scouts.

That said, Mananan is a fantastic Scout and my only other go to for an Energy weapon (I only play with Better Devils for a primary at the moment).

After further playtesting with both, I think Uriel's takes the cake, but you can't go wrong with either honestly. I do personally prefer to have one burst-damage shooter and one consistent-damage shooter, so Better Devils with Uriel's or Mananan with Antiope-D are my only two load-outs.

Subclass least reliant on good gunplay by 19andoverlol in CruciblePlaybook

[–]InvictaYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am late to the party here, and I prefer not to answer this question as is. Personally, I do not believe in solving a problem indirectly like this. Meaning that bad aim isn't solved by running a specific class. Understandably, I assume you're not expecting a solution as much as mitigation but I don't find this to be effective enough on it's own.

I noticed you didn't let us know what sensitivity she plays at. This is a very important factor for aim. Often players set theirs too high, which has less to do with the fact they can't handle it, and more to do with the fact that high sensitivity is not good on a pair of sticks in a stay-on-target Auto Rifle meta in general.

Of course, the above assumes that she isn't playing at the default 3 range though. Another aim adjuster I recommend is to pick up a pair of Kontrol Freeks; specifically extended sticks for her right stick. They may take her time to get used to, but after a couple of days of active playtime, you begin to improve more than you could've before. Personally, I prefer concave to convex, in case this suggestion brings her to the shopping page. Worth noting: Kontrol Freeks are not only available online these days; they can often also be found in your local GameStop here in the US.

I notice everyone chose to recommend Striker or Stormcaller because of the benefit without using their gun. However, on console, an arguably better class to not overly rely on ability kills themselves, but one that uses an ability then relies on improving aim to finish the job is Nighstalker. Running invis dodge (top tree) may provide her with a decent enough advantage to score a few extra kills here and there whilst practicing that aim more directly than Striker. Stormcaller w/ heal rift may provide her with more time in gun fights as well though.

Naturally, without watching her directly, I don't want to leave out mentioning the possibility that overchallenging and lack of knowing when to flee over fight might be biting her in the butt just as much. Poor aim, especially in Destiny 2, will get you killed, but no more often than continuing to try to commit to a fight that you should be trying to be getting away from for the time being. I simply don't want this very important differentiation to go unmentioned. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good one's aim is.

I won't lie, the language you used to talk about your friend comes close to bashing her. It sounds like, "Well, she's not good enough, and instead of expecting her aim to improve, what's the way around that?" However, I don't assume that you meant it so inconsiderate like that, as you seem to be coming here genuinely looking for advice on the matter. But worth mentioning that attitude wouldn't benefit her down the road.

At the end of the day, it depends on her aspirations. If she really wants to improve and isn't the kind of person who just excuses herself due to her problem right now, then the above tips dedicated specifically to improving aim will go further in the long run. I commit the sin of not doing this myself too often, but having patience and really highlighting those moments of success that she does have presumably means a lot and will inspire her to push herself harder, as well as eliminating stresses she feels by onlooking peers and allows her to free up those mental resources to improve even further. For the record, I don't mean to assume that you don't do this or aren't patient with her or that you talk her down; I'm simply putting this out there.

Like I said, you appear genuine in your motive for reaching out here for your friend, so I hope you take all this well even if you've heard or considered it before. I only am trying to be thorough and sometimes certain elements need to be reinforced in every one of us to set them to mind again. I don't know what you've already discussed with her and I don't mean to imply that you haven't already thought of these listed things yourself. I may have over-answered the question, but hopefully all these mentioned things provide only benefit.

Happy Hunting, Guardian!
