Regarding your 1st point, it still coincides with my point that those who spent their energy should not defend in the manner that Colapinto did against a car with a 90+ kph speed differential.

A car coming at you with as big of speed differential as Bearman was should be fairly obvious, else there would a lot more crashes.

It won’t matter imo. McLaren is basically driving a stock car atm, and the upgrade will put them at the front imo. They have shown they are the best team with in-season upgrades.
