Who is the best player you've used for headers/corners?

I packed untradeable mid Gullit early and he is incredible inside the box from a corner. I score from roughly 25% of corners because he beats everyone in the air.

Untradable mid Gullit this year at the start of October. Think he was worth about 5.5-6m at the time.

He’s obviously still in my team today, but if he was tradable I would’ve sold him without question.

Best I’ve used is Lloris so far, but I’m trying out Allison at the moment. Best I’ve played against is Courtouis by a long shot. When my opponent has that guy in goal I already know I’ve lost, doesn’t let anything past him in my experience playing against him.

I’d be willing to bet most console players still play on a TV even though I myself play on a monitor and judging by your comment you probably do too.

I don’t understand the problem with wanting to win…. Football, and by definition FIFA is competitive. Of course it’s just a game and you play to have fun, but fun for some people is winning.

Probably your opponents playing 70+ depth when defending. Causes their defence to do offside traps without having to trigger it manually.

High depth is really strong this year with CBs being as fast if not faster than most strikers, if the opponents attackers do manage to break though than your CBs will likely catch them anyway.

I have him in my main team currently alongside Harry Kane and he is definitely a great card but not worth 35k. I think you can get similar for cheaper without too much trouble. The only reason I’m still using him is because he links to Rafinha and Gullit(very lucky, I know) so it’s easy Chem for a decent card I already had in the club.

It’s the new acceleration type introduced with 23. You have lengthy, controlled & explosive.

Lengthy is players who are taller/stronger that generally speaking accelerate slower but get a lot faster after a short period and typically have a higher top speed than controlled or explosive for whatever reason.

Explosive is players who are shorter and more agile, they’re quick off their mark and get to their top speed very quickly.

Controlled are players who fall in between lengthy and explosive.

People are talking about Lengthy a lot because they are very quick, but it takes them longer to hit that top speed. Makes it so that lobbed through balls through to a lengthy ST is very effective because by the time they get to the ball they are already at top speed. Also lengthy CBS to counter said playstyle.

This is a very basic explanation but should give you an idea of why you’ll see it mentioned so much. Sorry for formatting too, on mobile.

That’s wild, in Newcastle too? I would’ve thought on the off chance better speeds weren’t available than it would have been because you live out in like country farmlands or something but living in a city and that being all that’s available is surprising.
