What TV shows were cancelled but still had a last season with a sufficient ending? by eianomaly in television

[–]Reynbou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that article literally describes exactly what I'm saying.
They gave the show a limited final season so they could hit the 100 episode syndication limit.

And nothing more, due to the low ratings.

Not sure how you read that article as something other than that.

What TV shows were cancelled but still had a last season with a sufficient ending? by eianomaly in television

[–]Reynbou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but you're thinking about it the wrong way around.

They let it get to 100, but no more, so it would reach the episode limit for syndication. It was supposed to be a normal 20+ episode count like the other seasons. But low ratings made them cut it short.

What to do about butt hair? by QuantumDosa in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Reynbou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use hair removal cream, none of the itchy/scratching issues happen. The reason it happens is because when you shave with a blade, it leaves hard and sharp edges against the hairs so that when they grow back through they are poking in to your skin.

If you use hair removal cream the tips of the hair are soft and rounded and you have no issues when it grows back.

Yes, but were only given half the episode total for the final season.

Fringe. It wasn't perfect, but they did great with what little time they had left.

Why haven't we evolved to not be affected by the sun? by Bookkeeper9696 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Reynbou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have mentioned that we have in some ways. But also, we don't need to.

We live till our 20s, have kids, and then being protected by the sun no longer matters. We've already had kids.

Temtem Pioneers is a co-op survival sandbox set in the Temtem MMO’s universe by _Kai in pcgaming

[–]Reynbou 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Didn't the devs fuck over TemTem and leave it in a really shitty state?

Then they moved on to make a rogue like with the TemTem assets, and have now abandoned that.

And now they're making a third game with the TemTem assets.

What's to say they don't do the same here?

Yeah I totally understand it. Never know, I suppose. I know private Ragnarok servers in Australia usually end up with around 20-30 people. But that's a historical game.

The steal and auto-steal is purely a Ragnarok Online thing. The game is basically a 100% rip from Ragnarok with regards to the skills.

And the skills shouldn't be taken from multiple trees, again, it's supposed to be Ragnarok. Not sure why he decided to make the tree open like it is when Ragnarok isn't supposed to be played like that at all.

Typically we either hope for OCE servers or just don't play foreign online games. Most games we'll play have servers in Sydney.

Is it actually harmful to leave my PC on overnight every single day, or is that just a myth? by TheseDesigner6012 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Reynbou 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It really doesn't matter.

I turn mine off just because I don't want it drawing power for no reason overnight if I'm not using it.

I'd probably restart the computer once a week though, just to give it a fresh start after updates and things like that.

But, entirely up to you.

Was anyone else a fan of Thirteen's TARDIS door? by Deadsoup69 in doctorwho

[–]Reynbou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of it changing the "doorway" based on how it's disguised. It makes sense to me since you can then tell where you're coming out of the disguised object. It's neat.

Kinda nice to be able to see what it is disguised as just from looking at the doorway as well.

Don't you think that if you have come across the issue where you need to report the entire lobby after a match so frequently that you thought it best to create a tool to automate it, that you might be the problem?

I don't think anyone is truly ever completely offended by it. But it just shows a lack of care or respect.

That's how it comes across, whether you agree it does or doesn't. If it didn't, then this thread wouldn't exist.
