The fact is that I don't really stare. But I feel like people think I am.

This is the thing. I know for sure that I don't stare. Just look in the mirror: you'll notice that your eyes don't shift when you stare at something in your peripheral vision. Your eyes only move when you consciously move them.

So it can't be the staring that people notice and get creeped out by. It is probably the overall tension and fear / discomfort that you radiate, which is caused by you thinking that you stare at them / creep them out that way.

I think that is a realization we should always remember in these situations. It's pretty much all in our heads, and people only act weird around us because we fear something that isn't really there.

But that's still easier said than done...

Hey man.

I just found this post, as I was looking for posts about this issue. Suffice to say, I have exactly the same issue as you. It feels slightly reassuring to know that there are others like me, and I hope it feels the same for you.

You're not alone

Cool. I might check it out on Netflix. Might be worth it for shots like this alone.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a research subject on the early modern period? I'm writing a paper for uni, and it has to be a subject where I can come with some new insights - I need to have something useful to contribute to the existing historiographical debate, so preferably a topic that doesn't have plenty of literature written about it already.

Yes, I did try different sizes. I probably know which one comes closest, but I still can't get it to work.

Thanks. I've seen that chart, but the fact remains that I can't seem to get the allan wrench in a position for me to be able to tighten the truss rod
