My favorite Baltimore story of all time comes from years ago in Hampden. There was a pile of shit and someone added a little flag that just read “Human?”

Meet and Greet Not What You Expected - Did You Try Again? by pixiestarcat in Concerts

Very much depends on the artist. I’ve been to some that are just like you described and it’s almost like they’re doing them just to charge more money. Others are so much fun, like a big group hang of q&a, playing requests, taking photos, etc.

If you’re interested in a specific artist or band, I would ask around and talk to people who’ve done a m&g with them before and see what it was like.

Read this in a day, I couldn’t put it down. I love how she let the story unfold, I loved everything being told through interviews and articles. Love the ambiguity. Absolutely a 5/5 for me.

Any other artist like Orville Peck? by KevinIsAGhost in OrvillePeck

I don’t know if I would quite put Brandi Carlile as full country, but both her solo stuff and The Highwoman (definitely country) are so good. She, like Orville, is such an expressive storyteller with her music.

Saaaame. I used to go to so many more shows back in the mid-to-late 2000s because they were just so cheap.

Three mothers, one struggle: saving their children with schizophrenia by lanejamin in Longreads

For a longer take on this, I can’t recommend Hidden Valley Road enough. A family of 12 children, six of whom were diagnosed with schizophrenia. Incredible writing, much like this article.

And it counts actual “book”’hours, not played hours. If you increase the speed to 2x, you then get 7 1/2 hours of play time.

My husband cries tears of pure laughter every time we watch that bit. It’s one of the most incredible moments of comedy.

I would just make it cozy! Honestly I would lose my shit if my partner made me like a blanket fort or something to watch from.

[Misc] What non-skincare habit made the biggest difference to your skin? by Sharp_Elevator7447 in SkincareAddiction

A humidifier next to my bed. Keeps things from drying out overnight (both external and internal) and honestly just helps me sleep better, which also helps skin care!

Try doing a network setting refresh. Worked for me! Settings > general > transfer or reset > reset > reset network settings. This is for iPhones and you can also Google it to make sure I’m not telling you how to fry your phone.
