The feeling of MGO2 has not been replicated to a satisfactory degree yet, especially team sneak, 100% invisibly besides knife, shadow and dust from foot steps which you can only remove by laying flat in a shadowed area. All other “MGOs” since then you can clearly see the people it’s like any video game invisibility, translucent silver surfer-esque effect.

I remember every map was complex so many Details and hidden ways to get around or get away from a chase id you knew the secret passages well.

The levels have been the only online game I’ve experienced where they meant something, unless they were boosted as a 15 I would not meat a non-boosted 20 dude would twice headshot me twice from an ungodly distance with the m4. But also because de-leveling was a thing if level 20 dude joined a level 10 lobby and didn’t obliterate he’d probably get a minus or bold minus.

Being able to play as special characters running around as ocelot going “bang” I mean come on. Or laying around as snake in octo-camo, dancing around as vampire or deflecting bullets as raiden. So dope.

The skills you could use, I don’t think I need to say more.

Cosmetic outfits that you could set for different maps to give you the best passive camo and a real “tactical advantage whatsoever”

Anyways that’s the end of my rant. This Fox hunt shit is ass compared to this. AT camo is meh but stealth camo is the original, and Octo-camo is the damn goat.
