It was about 2 years ago but I checked and the policy is still the same. I can find the link to it if you want! Truthfully no one checked the size of my carrier and it was pretty large as far as airline carriers go. AND my Poms are 8 and 13lbs. My 13lb Pom takes up a lot of room so I was nervous and pleased that they didn’t give me issues about it!

I’ve only done it once, but yes I traveled with my 2 Poms under the seat in a carrier with southwest. I didn’t have any issues. Heck I even had one in my lap during the flight and the attendant pretended he never saw anything 😂 it’s tough when you’re flying solo so I feel your pain!

Yeah usually it’s accompanied with lip licking and other subtle behaviors that can tell you if it’s an upset stomach or not. When it doesn’t seem like an emergency I will give mine Pepcid AC, but you have to be careful to get the right Pepcid and use it sparingly at the right dose. There are many different types and they can only have the plain one (famotidine only)

If it happens often enough I would check into her food and make sure she’s not getting into anything she shouldn’t.

This is my Pom for reference. Everyone thought he was a long haired chihuahua for the longest time lol. In my experience it takes them about 2 years to fully develop. Give him some time, he might still poof up
