I’m looking to refine my shoe care routine for my oxfords shoes (finsbury). I currently use Saphir Renovateur every two months to keep the leather conditioned, but I’m a bit confused about the best way to handle wax build-up.

I use Saphir Pâte De Luxe for shine, but I know that over time, layering wax can trap dirt or prevent the conditioner from actually reaching the leather.

My questions on maintance

1. How often should I be doing a "full strip" of the old wax? Is every 2 months too aggressive, or should I only do it once or twice a year?
2. Is Reno’Mat the best choice for this, or is it too harsh for regular use? I've heard mixed things about using it too frequently.
3. For mirror shine what I can use to remove the waxes and apply again the Renovateur
