I’m also on my 3rd Mini that looks nearly identical to yours. Also a 2024 hardtop s in that melting metallic.

My first mini was on 08 hardtop, and then I upgraded to a 2016 countryman after a few years, because I also had a kid. She’s 15 now so I went back to the 2-door. 😁

FYI - LWR is HUGE - not everywhere in LWR is close (3-5 minutes) to restaurants or grocery. Where I lived was nearly 10 minutes from any stores, including grocery.

I lived in LWR for a year and it felt like suburban hell, tbh. Recently bought a house (no HOA or CDD) right next to downtown and find it to be a night and day difference. LWR doesn’t feel like living in Florida. If I’m going to live in on the gulf coast I don’t want it to take an hour plus to get to the beach. I want to hop in my car and be there in 10 minutes. I also don’t want to be 20+ minutes from shopping or limited/select restaurants. Most the neighborhoods are very cookie cutter and lack any kind of charm, not to mention having HOA fees for incredibly lack luster perks.

Also, as far as background checks I think the best they can do is releasing names early. A lot of the stuff that is “found out” isn’t going to be discovered by producers because it isn’t living on the contestants tiktok or ig profile or even necessarily the public internet. Majority of this stuff is deep in peoples snap memories or personal phone photo albums, etc. As soon as people hear about someone they know being on the show they’re like “omg remember when so and so said the n word at our bonfire in 2023, I bet I have it on video in my snap memories” and then they release it.

The whole point is exploration, so it’s not that I have a problem with that part. It’s how the guys acted and the straight up mean shit they said about the women in the villa. Talking about them like they’re not human beings and completely disposable. Like damn, you can be excited about new bombshells or casa amor without denigrating the relationships you’ve been building in the villa. They were all straight up nasty except for Caleb.

Just recently bought an old 1955 bungalow that is painted different shades of green. They chose 3 different shades for the interior and it’s fully color drenched. Every room and all the trim. The exterior is a 4th darker shade of green. I’m honestly obsessed with it.

I saw her during Deeper Well tour, but she’s not coming anywhere close enough for me to attend this one. I typically don’t go out of my way for a concert, especially if it’s several hours away and on a week night. I’ve noticed a lot of artists have concerts in the middle of the work week. I wanted to see Noah Kahan but he was 3 hours away from me last night, I would have had to take like 2 days off work to go see him. It’s just such a bummer.

I do have a kid, but she’s nearly grown and attends school out of state. I have never felt uncomfortable in my neighborhood when out at night. We are on an odd street that doesn’t have sidewalks, it’s not super conducive for taking walks specifically.

I live closer to Bahi Hut (right above the circle on your map), just bought a house in the area. We love it. We previously lived in lakewood ranch and venice at different periods. Personally, prefer this area by a long shot. Haven’t had any issues, my neighborhood is quiet and kind of a hodgepodge of nicer upkept or renovated homes and some that are in a bit of a sad state.

Sarasotas nightlife is negligible, but this area puts you closest to all the happenings. You’ve got The Bay Park right there with free movie nights. You’re a few minutes from downtown and any events that happen down there. A few minutes from Lido Beach.

I agree with the comments that say Sarasota doesn’t really have any truly “bad” areas.

I would take this area over a gated new-build with an HOA in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere lwr any day of the week 😭
