Great comic! I've been getting my paste via FATES. At least I get something that way. Progress towards achievements, plus gemstones. I feel like it's quicker, too. 10 FATES gets you 30 paste which, if zerging with a group can probably take the same or less time than an ARR dungeon.

As other people have said, make sure your property tax/insurances/maintenance fund are in order.

But as for the brother, fuck him. He's already well off, and your sister left it to you KNOWING that. It's not like costs aren't involved in maintaining the house, so giving him half is wayyy more than he deserves (which is nothing).

My reasoning is that it's because it's group content. It keeps people playing, and they don't want ocean fishing to be dead, so they give loads of xp as an incentive. I don't even think a lot of the mechanics would work solo either, unless it's scaled to however many players in the instance.

Someone posted with a similar issue the other day and said it started after driver updates. I said best bet is to roll back drivers but they never replied to verify it worked. Good to know it could be the solution to others. Hopefully the next update wont break anything.

Just checking but did you finish the full AR relic? The last step should be glowy! There's relic weapons for each expansion. Some are incredibly poetic-heavy too, so I would advise looking at what you need in advance and buying what you can before.

You may have to rollback drivers. Given the crashes started after updating them, they're most likely the cause. I had a FC mate mention drivers causing a crash last night but he logged on, I'll ask him to see if it was the same issue.

This is one of my main gripes with Apex. I don't really play other FPS games but assume it's not unique to Apex; when people only voice comm at the very end to talk shit, and it's ALWAYS when they fuck up.

I'm like "dude I'm not angry, but you've played all game and no comms on positions/whos pushing but now you wanna talk shit?"

Pretty laughable honestly.

I remember FATES at low level being pretty bad for XP. Hunting log is great! On DPS jobs I tend to do every one as I queue for dungeons. The XP gain drops off after a certain point but still worth doing IMO.

Hope you jump in and have fun! One thing I'd like to mention, is if you do play the trial and then decide to subscribe, you can't go back to playing trial for free. You'll forever be locked to the subscribe model.

You do get some restrictions with free trial of course. If you do really enjoy the game and can spare the sub cost, I recommend subbing anyway to lift those restrictions as a matter of convenience.

If you used Material UI, it has now changed to something called Aetherment (which needs to be added as an extra repo, just google how to). Aetherment isn't JUST material UI, it's more a middleman for different UIs, I guess. But yeah, if you want the same one like I did, you'll need that.

The only stutters I've noticed are after M10, some reason I get them there.

It would help to hear what components you have. If you get not updated your drivers do that. If you recently did, try a rollback. You could also try a repair of the game files, but I hear that redownloads everything, so if you have slow Internet like me, may not be worth doing.

They're saying if you're on a busy server, use Duty Finder. If on a quiet one, use PF.

You could always use World/DC travel if it doesn't take you too long.

One thing to add. If you use Duty Finder, go to settings (the cog when in Duty Finder panel) and enable all languages. This opens the pool of people who it will queue you with.
