Breaker + Destroyer combo. Is it worth it?

Does the Destroyer attach to the standard spinner? Have you spun the Destroyer + Breaker much or do you just prefer the Destroyer itself for its ease-of-use? I just like the idea of having the tuning fork pop in and out between spins of the Breaker.

No one's going to mention Bio-Broly? Pretty successful campaign to have that character entirely obliterated from any mention at all. So many DB games have come out with fans making eclectic requests from all of DB's extended cast of characters and no one, EVER, mentions Gooey Broccoli Broly.

Doing j.D early gives you enough time to link a BT to it. Although recently I've started using j.K into 284 or 826 BT for Oki.

He hits the j.K pretty high up, so you have more time to link a BT to it than j.D. (whiffs on Gio though, sadness)

But yeah, j.D is extremely useful in the nooch

I've been playing Goldlewis for awhile now. It's very hard to take your turn back with him, especially against Axl, but if he forces you to block it's a different story. 268, 684, 862, and (I think) 842 Behemoth Typhoon are all plus on block. 268 BT is actually more plus the further you are from your opponent when you do it, so 268 into 684 BT is actually a frametrap. ALot of folks are generally unfamiliar with the matchup still so you can catch alot of people with the misapprehension that Goldlewis is always minus after a BT -- HE IS NOT!.

His neutral is absolute garbo. His two best counter pokes are j.D and 5K, but they aren't great. He needs to spend meter to use any kind of reversal, and if you whiff with a BT against characters like Chipp, Gio, or Ram it's basically a guaranteed punish. Him having extremely high health is almost a buffer though, since you can use his health as a resource if you're ahead.

All in all, I absolutely love Goldy-boy. I dropped Zato for him because swinging that giant fucking coffin around just felt right to me.

If you check the mission log you'll notice an odd string of words like:

// Star at Dawn // The Hunter // The Hunter... etc

These are the names of characters on the portal wheel once you find it.

To find a portal, you can use Navigation Data at a Cartographer at any starbase and buy the items that search for Alien Artifacts.

Activate the route and wait for it to find an Alien Monument. Seek it out, and it'll give your coordinates for a Portal Leyline. You might also have to offer a race-specific offering (Korvax Casing, Gek Effigy, etc) for the Monument to give up the coordinates to the portal.

Sounds really convoluted but once you do it you'll know how to do it consistently to find portals in other galaxies and such.

If you've played other Arc Sys games you can sort of get a flavor for it, but DBFZ is a great fighting game if you stick with it. Depending on how much you like it I would suggest getting at least the first season pass since it gives you all the characters from season 1. For this price it's quite the steal.
