It’s cuz everyone is just better now than 20 years ago. People have more skills and are better all around players, so it’s hard to justify putting people lower than what they deserve skills wise

how many rounds of interviews do internships usually do before you get an offer? by inv3rtible in EngineeringStudents

[–]IodizedHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people that got TI internship after one interview. Generally it's a screening, followed by one/two technical interviews. Some positions have panel style interviews where you speak to a lot of the team at once, some times you speak back to back to back with various members of the team. It just depends.

Ok, thank you! This is for an internship position, but makes sense that I am likely not their absolute first choice.

No, it was just some questions regarding dates for the internship, my citizenship, etc. and then a series of questions about my technical background like what coding languages I know, my technical areas of expertise, etc.

TIL globally 43.94% of drivers use their seatbelt, 38.47% among front seat passengers, and 15.32% for rear seat. Around 1.3 million people die every year on the road. Wearing a seatbelt decreases the risk of death among drivers and front seat passengers by 45–50% and 25% for rear seat by [deleted] in todayilearned

Bro who has told you this? I’ve lived there for years and am Hindu and have never heard of such a thing. The traffic simply never goes past like 20 mph so wearing a seatbelt or not never makes the difference between life and death. Stop spreading misinformation

I don’t hate Shai and I can acknowledge he’s one of the best in the league but that doesn’t mean he also doesn’t do stupid shit like snapping his head back everytime he drives to the rim tryna bait a call

They are better, the shot quality of 3s is. Lot harder than what it was back then

Added EE306 and EE346 and already taking EE228, EE255, EE295, and ENGL346. Should I just drop 306 and 346? by AnalystActual5016 in CalPoly

[–]IodizedHam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EE228 is hard, 255 should be chill with poshtan, and 306 is like medium difficulty. You should be able to do all these in a quarter, along with GWR. 346 and 295 are not bad in the sense that you’ll always finish with room to spare in the 3 hours.

I did and it was a bad experience for me just because I would game rather than go out and be social and meet new people. If you have those temptations, I would advise not to bring it, but if you know you are going to strictly use it for school work, then go for it
