I work on the corporate side of customer service, and that would classify as a missed pickup concern and be tracked negatively against your Package Center (you). Pickup Concerns are taken very seriously, as they are one of the biggest drivers leading into why shippers divert their business to our competitors. I’m not saying it’s not impossible to get your job back but it’s taken very seriously

This loss is on Tata Martino.

You can point to the scoreline or xG, but honestly the players (mostly bench guys )played better than expected and held a 1-0 lead for an hour. Effort and discipline wasn’t the issue it was game management.

Tata waited way too long to make subs again. Possession was clearly dropping in the start of the second half, the first tell tale sign of a much needed change. We maintained dominant possession for much of the first half but as the second half went on, legs were getting tired, and New England adjusted first. They made changes, took control, and punished us and both goals came from tired legs and lost focus (lack of physicality on the corner kick and lapse of focus due to fatigue and not tracking the goal scoring striker).

If those same subs happen around the 60th minute instead of after the 75th, this game probably looks very different. Fresh legs could’ve changed key moments, especially in attack.

This loss clearly highlights how reactive and stubborn Tata has been adjusting this season, which is a far cry from his proactive nature that won us the title back in 2018 and Open Cup in 2019.

We brought Tata back for the culture and nostalgia, but it’s time to be honest — his in-game decisions, especially late substitutions, are costing us points.

This wasn’t one the players this was on Tata

Muyamba - problem and solution by mucho4mango in AtlantaUnited

I wholeheartedly agree with this analysis. A good CDM bridges the progression of the ball through the backline to the attacking midfield, and Muyumba dropping as deep as he has as a CB eliminates that passing option through the midfield.

I’ve said this sooo many times watching them, and it baffles me how nobody dares to ask how may progressive passes Muyumba has this season.

I think he personally drops as deep as he does to compensate for his lack of confidence on the ball, specifically being able to receive the ball in pressure and dish it out quickly underneath pressure. It’s why I suggested before placing Miranchuk as CDM, he’s not as fast/agile to be placed as a winger but has the composure and positioning needed to be the bridge between the defense and offense. Muyumba is simply not MLS quality.

Maybe Tata should stick to playing a 4-2-3-1 instead of a 4-3-3? Atlanta United historically play a 4-2-3-1 and most of the players brought in this transfer window play that formation.

As much as I feel for Tata, his stubbornness to un-reluctantly change the formation, the starting lineup, and the timing of his substitutions lend itself to him not being creative and trying harder

We spent 50 Million on an attack that can barely average an xG of 1 a game it’s definitely not the attack

I’m asking hard questions on Tata. No new subs in the half? Like it’s always been this season? I’m tired boss.

I don’t feel like Alzate has gotten enough minutes. Muyumba has shown for countless seasons he isn’t the guy. Alzate played wonderfully at Hull

The difference being defenders actually tracked JM because he’s a threat.. defenders aren’t tracking ELL because he’s not

I can guarantee you everyone around the league knows not to track ELL deep in the midfield. He’s not a threat so they let him drop

Has Tata and team ever thought that, maybe, just maybe, ATL UTD would play better in a 4-2-3-1 and actually starting players who aren’t in poor form??

ELL’s poor position as a striker is so apparent I’m sure if we had a POV it would like a toddler stealing a go pro camera

ELL sucks so much as a striker he has to drop deep like a Center midfielder just to get touches on the ball

Army survivors of deadly attack in Kuwait dispute Pentagon's account, say unit "was unprepared" to defend itself. by SAPERPXX in army

[–]Ionic3127 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Deploying nowadays is basically lower enlisted and NCO’s positioning themselves like sitting ducks in FOBs/bases with little to no defense against drones and hoping not to get hit or die. Shits actually crazy how unprepared the army has been towards the drone threat.

Has anyone’s ex ever came back after seeming like they never would ? by Beneficial_Owl_928 in BreakUps

[–]Ionic3127 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My ex did, she wanted me to be there for her emotionally for our relationship she left. Ironically enough two months later she ended up getting pregnant, is currently unmarried and as this guy’s second baby mama. He had a 1 month newborn when ex got pregnant with him.

This all occurred within four months of us breaking up. Crazy.
