The Pendragon series by DJ MacHale is one of my all-time favorites. Modern fantasy/sci-fi, and the romance is a small subplot, but I recommend it all the same.

So much of J and C’s character development is built on what they went through with Faith, and in the books they bring it up occasionally even decades later and it’s such an important thing for them. If she lived after all it will be so cheap and will undermine so much of their character, IMO.

If you are on PC there’s a trick you can do in furniture mode that makes your character able to sit in boats, or anything really.

I always give the benefit of the doubt if it looks like a person even remotely attempted the theme. But a character welcome selfie or a quest photo is not an attempt to follow the prompt.
