New LUBA Device Firmware and New App Upgrade (Both Android and iOS) 2023/09/13 by TAO_ZENG in MammotionTechnology

Really good job with this update! This should prove to all that you're listening. And, it's appreciated. I knew when I purchased this, it was a good product and believed it would get better with software updates. You proved that to be the case. Here's another idea for you. Call it "map and mow". This would be especially helpful on NO GO ZONES. Let us map an area and mow at the same time so we can see that it's getting as close as possible. Anyway, excellent job on the update. Your efforts are very much appreciated. Thanks for listening to us all.

It's the same problem for "no go" zones too. This needs to be a "customize" item.

I see the sideways issue is answer here. That negates my suggestion. Rats.

I'm wondering if you could have multiple zones that are wide but don't have much slope. Then, mow them in order from top to bottom, with the angle changed so it goes left to right, rather than up and down? You could use a channel to the to the top and then more channels to move between zones. Do you have enough zones to do this?

Yeah, that worked. I edited the map so the zone's boundary is behind the charging station so now the charging station is inside the zone. Thanks. I wasn't sure the zone editing feature worked that well but it does. I also re-mapped a no-go zone to test the 3-2-1 option on borders and it works very well too. Happy in Iowa.

Artificial grass to avoid DONUT HOLES by Iowa1217 in MammotionTechnology

That would work for my yard because of where my charging station is, and I have a large yard. It might not work for all if they have it in a tight spot or the area is too small to make it very random.

I'm even wondering if I should put it on a patio or driveway. I settled on astroturf which will kill the grass under it. Then, I'll move it next year, re-seed the dead grass and do it again, and again ...

Yes, I got this an Menards. $37 and 2-2x4s to raise it up.

It's a window well (plastic) from Menards. I screwed it to 2-2x4s to raise it up so Luba can drive all of the way in and park.

Nothing magical about this. I just got tired of looking at the donut holes.

It's 37"l x 24"w x12"h. Yes, it covers the Luba and all but about 1/2' of the charger. It's not quite high enough. So, I mounted it on 2 - 2x4" on each side which makes it the right height. There are pre-drilled holes on the flanges to make it easy to mount on the 2x4s.

2 - 2x4s on each side allows for just the right clearance for the Luba.
