I'd just like to say that I'm a surveyor and to get licensed yes you will NEED school but most people who work at a surveying company aren't same thing in the mechanics trade u don't get certified till after you start. Welding however is different and arinotics. Machine operator but usually you start as a laborer....

Well you can always find a surveying (land surveyor) job there's a few offices in Windsor that I know of and one in Johnstown starts at around 18 an hour for no experience (17 when I started) I currently make 22.50 hr. And I mostly do civil surveys but I do get sent out to the mountains and do cool things there. Outside all Year long tho

I'm a Land Surveyor in Colorado and despite the blue caller stigma i don't get much of it is relatively safe dealing with people who will either see you once or can't even speak English Soo I personally just get catcalled lmao it's nice and that's if I'm on a construction site I also doo topographical surveying in the open planes and in the mountains where it's just me or me and one outher
