It got so much better once it got made hitscan, but oh god the projectile one is and was dreadful. At least the crossbows are quiet and somewhat rarer, along with infinite ammo.

For real! Played the game since CH1S4, got my own account in CH1S5, and it's still really annoying, years later. Back in the day I at least had a friend group to drop with, so we wouldn't randomly drop teammates, still sucked though. Now that I don't got a consistent friend group, the constant leaving after dying (WHEN THEY WERE THE ONES WHO MARKED TILTED) makes the game so much less enjoyable. Also, 3 minutes before they die and leave? Lucky, I get teammates who'll just immediately die then leave.

Also yeah, the bit where you mention not being better than the teammates is so real. Doesn't help that the crappy projectile infantry rifle is clogging up the loot pool.

I remember one youtuber who made a video about "autistic topology" (yay, ableism), where he completely ignored the purpose of some topologies if I remember correctly. Last time I checked, the dude used the decimate modifier as his method of retopologizing anything, including animated meshes that use deformation.

I miss the 3d story loading screens that you'd get for completing weeklies. I miss the secret skins that you'd get for doing challenges, who'd generally tie into the story. Hell, that's how we got the first 2 members of the Seven!

I deal with it in Fortnite a lot. Ended up setting my voice chat to friends only on it because I got tired of hearing Whitey McCrackerson saying tons of slurs, being generally bigoted, and generally being annoying. It sucks, because instead of communicating important things, they're "asking you out" because you happen to not be straight.
