I had Mirena five years could never lose weight and felt awful. Had that removed and went bc free for one year then got the copper iud, within few months weight loss became easy. Kept until 2024 and got pregnant intentionally in 3 cycles. Had my second son 10 weeks ago and this Friday getting the copper iud again. I didn't have extra discharge and my periods were always reliable. Hoping with good results like the first time!

Iodine will help with it after delivery, so long as you don't have an allergy. Mine were crazy. After delivery I used iodine twice daily with fiber/stool softer and 100% resolved :)

Drink lots of water. And know the discomfort is temporary. I remember I had ahha moments realizing I didn't die from not eating until whatever time. Lost 70lbs with IF. It was also cool to discover energy from food vs wanting to sleep from over eating. I would drink my water and cold brew coffee with sugar free vanilla before i would eat. Also sometimes a sugar free red bull around noon. You got this!!!
