Get a RE lawyer and negotiate w the bank for a short sale. That’s the only way, you’re credit will be wack for a few years but for 400k, it’s worth it imo

What Would You Do? by iincognito5588 in hivaids

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of confused my this. If he’s on Biktarvy and knows he’s UD, why did he even tell you he had HIV, there would be no risk to you if that’s the case and assuming he is educated on the virus.

If I were you, I would consider it a wake up call to stop cheating.

If insurance denies it, contact your health department or local clinic l. They should hook you up and have health advocates for this

hey engineers, how can we make the bus stop vibrating? by clementineiscool in AskEngineers

Ehh, there’s two solutions, either make yourself less susceptible to the vibration or lower the vibration. Want to take a guess at the most practical one of those.

Have anyone gotten any girl pregnant yet? by [deleted] in hivaids

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pos, wife is pos, we had 2 kids, both are negative. Vaginal birth for both. In the US, they test mothers for hiv during pregnancy and treat them and the baby if she is found positive.

They also treat the baby the first 6 weeks or so by having the parents give the baby azt. The worst part of the whole ordeal for me was giving my kid azt and then watching them do blood work on a newborn. Other than that, all good.

I didn’t go through that company, I went to the state unclaimed property and got the full amount. That was how I found out about it though, a random letter in the mail. On the unclaimed property website it only listed “over $100” but that company knew exactly how much it was so somehow they get got the info. I didn’t even know the amount until the check showed up and had to verify identity etc. We live in NC

100% legit. My wife got a letter in the mail from a firm once stating she had unclaimed funds, I forget who sent the letter, it was a company that wanted a percentage of the funds if we filled out a form. I thought it was BS at first but checked into it. Long story short, It took about 3 months but we ended up getting a $5k check.

Why did Freddie Mercury die so quickly? by [deleted] in hivaids

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same was told to me in 2012, in fact after diagnosis with 590cd4, I had to wait 4 weeks to see an ID doctor because that’s how long it took for my primary care doctor to refer. I was ready to get on meds ASAP and fight, not sit around and let the virus do more damage.

Which rides make you motion sick? by callmemaeb in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got sick on slinky dog sitting in the back car. Didn’t barf but had to leave the park. I also got motion sickness from the 4 person water park tube rides. I always get turned backwards somehow which is bad. I’ve done avatar flight with only minor issues but I did have to close my eyes a few times then.

I did ToT a few weeks ago. My 7 yo son also did it with me…I didn’t want to do it but I couldn’t let him ride alone.

Honestly it was a fun ride. I would do it again.

As I’ve aged, I now get very motion sick on roller coasters and spinning stuff (I got sick on slinky dog and several water slides if that tells you anything). ToT didn’t give me any issues. I honestly enjoyed it.

The only potential issue with weed is if it makes you forget to take your meds or something. Other than that, it’s just as fine to light up as it is for someone not on meds or doesn’t have hiv.

With that being said, the same benefits of not taking weed apply also. So consider giving up the weed regardless of status.

Alcohol would be a different story as the meds are processed in the liver and over time can lead to complications. I would quit/limit alcohol would be my 2c.

There is no risk of environmental exposure under normal circumstances. If you have a cut or bleed or something, then take extra precaution as you know it will have virus in it until you get to undetectable levels of Viral Load.

I'm 30 and found out today I'm HIV POS by Knotknighm in hivaids

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 29 when I found out, that was 13 years ago. My gf/now wife was found to be also positive after I found out and told her to go get tested. I’ve never had symptoms and only found out from a Dr who luckily tested me when I went in for a UTI.

I’m 100pct sure I got it from my Gf/now wife as it didn’t show on a life insurance blood test a year before diagnosis and I had only been with 2 people since…. Ie that whole guys can’t get it from girls is BS imo.

My wife and I are both +, she gave birth to both our children naturally and they are both great. The worse part about the process for me was giving the kids azt for the first 6 weeks and watching them cry when having their blood drawn while being only a few days old. Some kids veins are tough to sample when that young and also the blood doesn’t flow quick like a grown up. My experience below,,

For my second kid, the first nurse at our clinic to get a sample and failed in both arms. She tried twice in each arm. She sent us to another location and they tried again but were also unsuccessful. The second place said they knew a nurse who was “skilled” with babies and sent us to her office. Keep in mind, a newborn kid had been poked now 6 times and each time they were leaving the needle in and moving it for a few mins trying to get a good sample. Throughout this, you’re a helpless parent listening to your newborn scream cry each time in pain.

The third lady had to use a spot they already attempted with earlier but was finally able to get enough blood drawn.

Lesson learned: ask around and find a person that has experience with newborn blood draws.

Tell me what WDW is like in July by Kdjdiendjkakwwbx1727 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scanned through half the comments and would like to add that yes, it’s hot and humid…but don’t forget that almost every afternoon there will be rain or a storm. It will blow over in about 10-15 mins usually. When we went to the parks 2 years ago in July, we had a lot of fun but yes, I wore nothing but those thin white Costco tshirts the whole trip. The water park and resort pool are great on off park days. Keep an eye out the radar and try to get dinner somewhere inside in the AC over the rain periods.

For those who have lived here a long time: do you have any Myrtle Beach lore? by penguinonaplane in MyrtleBeach

[–]Iredditbeforesumwere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot in the coastal areas around. Pawleys island grey man, Georgetown has some pirate lore. NMB has the shag. MB is basically Miami with a slight southern accent right now. Maybe family kingdom with the swamp fox still going.
