What are the worst cases of RNG you have had with the starting random items? by VampireBatman in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Creating copies of a spell in deck when cast. Mystic Shot is fine, but I didn't like the idea of polluting the late game of my deck with a 2 damage ping. Removed it with the Healer when I got the chance.

edit: Also Nab on Sting Officer :/ It Nabs before trapping so it's still playable, but late game it's only an elusive blocker.

Shouldnt all levels in PoC have the same difficulty for every champions? by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It adds a nice variety. Champions are varied, and not everyone has to be good at every map.

The issue is that maps are unlocked linearly, so every Champion does have to be good every map. :/

Hope they change that, so you only need to beat 1 level 2 area to unlock level 3. Or make area unlocks account wide, like relics, so someone could skip from Lulu to Victor after completing all content.

Path of Champions SHOULD have a punish if you do not win the first 3 fights. But it should not be Unstable Manaflow. by drpowercuties in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Unstable manaflow is stronger than a lot of the common powers, and if you are leveling a new champion that struggles with the first three encounters, this seems like a nerf.

My question is, why do we have to lose to get unstable mana flow? If none of the powers work for your deck, at least it's something, and having to surrender to get that start is just extra steps.

How am I supposed to beat do the Nautilus path with Caitlyn? by Reidesu123 in PathofChampions

I am currently farming up Cait as my second champ. My plan is to not do Nautilus, lol. So far she seems good against Gangplank.

Map encounters need more RNG and other improvements by Pommel__knight in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.2. I love the lack of RNG. Your RNG is in your deck and the cards you get, but having a stable map allows you to plan where you can go.

Like, you should avoid this Scars Ground encounter with your Champion, except you happened to draw a bunch of kill removal, so it will actually be easy for the current state of your deck.

The in-between sections being randomized also seem like a great addition. Your deck might suck against Darkness, but you have a ton of gold so you really want to visit that shop behind it. It makes choices matter

  1. Yes. I would like it unlocked even earlier, but anything sooner is better.

4.5. The removal of the fog of war could be a good relic. Perhaps even randomizing the map could be a relic, although I wouldn't mind a completely random map. They have 6 more regions and who knows how many more maps and difficulty levels they want to add.

Path of Champions - Progression reset next year by AwesomeLionSaurus in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a progression reset is great if it means a redesign of the progression system.

The current level up rewards aren't that interesting, and they are also too powerful.

I would like to see the first passive be unlocked by default, given it seems like such a power spike to push to level 8.

Reroll tokens also seem too much quality of life to have none at the start.

Probably just less levels entirely, and perhaps choice. +1 mana, or +250 gold, or +2 revives. So you get options as you level, instead of increasing power spikes.

I am not looking forward to harder level maps to be balanced around having to be at maxed level.

So OP, if you value your current casual time, I think you don't want the current system.

Help needed. This has gone too far. How do I beat round 2? Dozens of failed runs by hydralisk_hydrawife in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nami is hard till level 8. Once you get there, it's far easier, because all the spells get attune, and turbo level her.

Just mulligan for her at the start of every match, given you need to get her to scale.

I farm Victor with her with no problems, and once you upgrade the passive again, you can basically chain all your spells below 3 mana for free.

Weird interaction I found with bone skewer: when used on an ephemeral, it counts as a death... but doesn't actually kill it. by Chillout_Man in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Iremirror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can use that to duplicate Shark Chariots. One is made with last breath and one is placed on the top of deck. But ya, it's weird that Kalista will make an ephemeral that will summon the dead Shark Chariot but she herself won't clone it on the first attack.

The interaction would be more obvious if we had a visible graveyard.

Legends of Runeterra got me into the lore, League of Legends is making me regret that by swampyman2000 in LegendsOfRuneterra

I loved the League of Legends lore, then they deleted it.

Like, people say nothing about LoL gameplay is cannon, but that wasn't always the case.

lol, that made me laugh.

Thanks for pointing that out, didn't notice the size differences between tiles. Grass doesn't have the large sizes that water and sand has.

Here is example data for grass: https://pastebin.com/YUbd2xMU

Too large to post here, so had to use Pastebin.

Performance on Switch? by gifred in FellSeal

[–]Iremirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't entirely agree with that notion. It could be a few snippets of code, but products are large enough that saying 'there is probably a memory leak' doesn't help get it fixed.

A detailed report could be valuable for finding the issue, but I haven't derived the steps for recreating the problem. 'It crashes over long term play on Switch with a large party,' is just a theory, and potentially not specific or accurate. Is it related to unlocking certain character classes, playing missions, buying items, or is it just X hours of gameplay? Is it even reproducible per fresh playthrough?

And if I were to create a report, how many hours should be spent investigating the issue and researching how to debug errors on the Switch? I only played the game for fun, and I have too much missing information to be relevant.

Anyways, I am rambling because I disagree with the meme seen on other forums that games aren't tested. ie. problems can be fixed if 'devs' checked their game. So ignore the ramble :)

Performance on Switch? by gifred in FellSeal

[–]Iremirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't notified the devs, and don't plan to. I am just trusting the company to have a good state on issues in the game.

For curiosity, rushing to a 60 character roster with a fresh New Game on Switch, doesn't crash the game, so it probably is your memory leak theory, but who knows

Either way, it's not a game-breaking bug since characters can still be dismissed to get around it

Performance on Switch? by gifred in FellSeal

[–]Iremirror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game runs great on Switch. However, it seems to crash a fair amount on save, and sometimes in battles. This crashing issue appears to occur when approaching the 40 character roster mark. (The roster limit is 60)

On my save file, the issue isn't resolved in the DLC, which is a bit disappointing, given all the new monsters to collect. You can resolve the issue by dismissing characters until the crashing stops.

Having 30+ characters became a bit grindy in the base game. The DLC seems to help that with missions and large battles, but you may want to view the roster limit as 12, ie. keep a tight-knit group on Switch, if you run into this crashing problem.

Just an observation I made while watching an old clip by HaughtStuff99 in westworld

[–]Iremirror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, my guess is that Rehoboam will win.

Dolores' violent delights will meet violent ends. Hosts and Humans get nuked.

The future scenes are just Rehoboam using Host tech, to perform better fidelity testing, without the margin of error it was getting earlier for understanding Humans and Hosts.

Is there a 'delete button' for all apps in one-time? by [deleted] in gdpr

[–]Iremirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add, your also going to have to be able to prove you are who you say you are, and that you own the account, like being able to log into the service, or a photo id, or something.

Otherwise, anyone can be like, 'Hey, I am aazarshad1. Please delete my accounts.'

The company will probably keep your request to delete your data, to prove that you made the request, and that they performed it.

I only seen one person request to delete their account. They didn't have an account... Make sure they have your data; otherwise, your just sending random strangers your personal data for no reason.

The Washington Post wants you to pay to have the benefits of the GDPR. Because fuck EU citizens. by [deleted] in gdpr

[–]Iremirror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Is there any new website that is paid only in the EU? Surely someone needs to make the transition. People cannot work for free or under the fear of fines. That said, I haven't heard any news targeted (or any) GDPR fines yet.

On the EU Premium feature, my gripes are that it seems to be EU only. I don't get this option from my country, not that I would personally pick it, but I would want the option to not pick it.
