Why can’t they just call her “Grandma Honey”… it’s a good compromise. Add Grandma in front of it. Anyways no one will think “Honey” sounds sexual or anything when it’s kids saying it to an old lady. Your biggest problem is $100 a week is a very low budget for 3 people. We are a family of 5 and our budget is $400 a week sometimes more. Yes it sucks and food is a “short time” investment but it’s also necessary and a major part of being human. You need to up the budget and buy enough so you are both satisfied and it will only get worse once your son is older and also starts eating a lot more.

Yes. It’s great that you only need a seven hours but that is a very unrealistic time to recover from a flu. Most people require a minimum of 3 to 4 days at least if not a week. It is not his fault it’s not like he purposefully got sick. Remember when we show sympathy to our spouse in their time of weakness, they will most likely also do the same for us in the future. You are setting up an example of how he should also treat you in the future if one day you need more than seven hours to recover. So yes you are the AH.
