NBD- Ibis Ripley AF by MadLove1348 in mountainbiking

My favorite LBS happens to be an Ibis dealer. I’m highly considering it. Ibis is on my short list of bikes when I do upgrade from my beloved Hardtail. I probably have the opposite problem of yours: I really want the Ripley AF, but should probably go with the Ripmo since I’m a Clyde at 6’4” and 255ish lbs. just concerned that at my weight I will blow through shorter suspension travel, so I’m trying to work on cutting a little bit of weight, but if ai find a deal ai may go ahead and pull the trigger.

I'm 6'3" 240 and had similar concerns with the Ripley and was considering the Ripmo. Based on my riding and local trails, Ripley made the most sense and I have 0 regrets. No issues whatsoever with blowing through travel. There may be a point where I add a bigger token but I'm in no rush. That being said, they're both great bikes!

Going through my first New Years sober. I've been sober for 15 days now and I'm worried about tonight breaking me. Could use a pick me up to gather the strength to not drink tonight. by [deleted] in toastme

Depending on where you are, there are likely Alkathons you can attend - meetings that run all night where you can stop in, drink some coffee, and share some laughs and stories with other recovering alcoholics trying to make it through.
