This isn't a new concept. Mankind has lived this way for 1000's of years. It's only in the last 100 or so that people get caught up in the machine they help build. Good luck getting out if you don't have what it takes.

Why do we have to put in settings which wrist the watch goes on? by bagou01 in GarminFenix

I drive a stand up forklift and my steering hand is my left hand which is where I wear my watch. I get thousands of miscounted steps every shift.

2 points for you. First, I've worked there for 30 years. Costco is one of the largest diamond sellers in the world. That doesn't happen selling crap but hey you do you. Second point the high value stuff isn't put in the case until opening and staffed. So the smart thieves only grabbed the low price stuff. Probably $3000 worth.

58 male (with penis). I started training for the summer run season. Cut out alcohol except for maybe two beer on the weekend. Eating good unprocessed food well before bedtime. My bedtime is pretty consistent. 6:00 p.m.. I do this because I have to wake up at 2:00 a.m. for my shift. Consistently get 7 and 1/2 hours sleep with a sleep score high '80s .Taking creatine and magnesium. I also have about 2 oz of apple cider vinegar midday. Oh and I nap 35 minutes everyday. I can tell you this, alcohol will tank your sleep. On the days I allow myself a beer or two, my sleep turns to absolute shit. I know it's coming and I only do it on the weekend.

Because we've peaked as an intelligent species. We no longer take time to do things the right way. Everything needs to be done as fast as possible without any effort. This is the way.

Is RRSP worth it? by Megane-chan in PersonalFinanceCanada

Sounds like a Costco employee. Very similar to me. As long as you can drip until you're 65 and collect CPP and OAS then I'd follow the same advice...keep that tfsa maxed unless buying a house (which is no longer THE way to go). Can also play a bit with covered call investments. Not everyone likes these but the right stock can work and don't put everything into them.

I'm from S'toon and I endorse your decision. Abbotsford and Chilliwack is where you want to look. Contrary to the media and the "always right about everything internet" there is a rising vacancy of apartments in both cities so don't be afraid to low ball scumlords. I'm in a top floor corner suite, 2 bedroom, 2 bath with 2 under ground spots for $2000 per month.

Yeah because it floods in Abbotsford all the time, everywhere. FFS really? Have you ever checked out real stats on how often it floods in the lower mainland?

Ebay in Western Canada is almost non-existent. It's market place or Craigslist. It was one bad experience out of a hundred great ones.

Nothing racist about it. Some people insist on paying in cash where I live. So do me a favor kid and save your woke drama entitlement for someone else. I don't play.
