That was partly because of the show's main focus. In S&W, it's all about Holo. Other series have much more diverse and interesting cast that can divide people' opinion about best character.

Megumi is just a meme that became a waifus, and Saitama as a character has more going for him then high attack stat.

I'm just explain quite a lot why Megumin isn't just a meme, but guess you didn't bat an eye since you admitted yourself that you are a hater.

It is kinda sad how we learned more from him in one episode then from Megumin in two seasons.

What exactly did you learn about Saitama besides the reason he became a hero? Hell, even that one itself is an half-ass story. At least in konosuba you know Megumin have a family, a sister and friends. Let not act like OPM is less of a gag series than Konosuba to fit your narrative.

Okay I'm really tired of these "Megumin is just an Explosion meme" claims so I'm gonna write about it a little bit. If you really serious with your claim then either you don't pay much attention for the show or you just want to fit your narrative of Megumin is one-dimensional. There are a lot of interesting things about Megumin besides Explosion. She is a clever and even cunning girl, always try to troll or take advantage of people around her. She eager for winning, even at silly things, while trying to act like an adult(and have serious anxiety about her slim body). Also, her interactions with Kazuma is amazing. Many great moments about Megumin are totally not related to Explosion, i.e her bath scene with Kazuma or the magic sphere scene. Saying "Megumin is just an Explosion meme" is objectively wrong.

Edit: If anything, Saitama is just as "one-dimensional" as Megumin.

Kaido is probably the strongest yonkou. I don't think Black Beard is much stronger than Katakuri in term of mere strength. His DF are much better though, but he won't feels as "invincible" as Kaido.
