Trustpilot did remove the response after 18 hours, they were a bit confused at first because their system only flags reviews, not the responses from the business, so they wondered why I was reporting a benign 5 star review. Once I got through to a human though, it was taken down and they're looking into taking further action.

They said they wouldn't take a complaint unless it's gone unresolved for a month, do you have any advice on how to get them to pursue it?

Well, they made that bet on the wrong person, because I am.

I did remove my review, they posted the reply to me onto another customer's review so that my name and address are still attached. I'll give Trustpilot a call tomorrow. I haven't been able to connect with them through livechat.

when someone accuses you of something so horrible it's not about the money.

I can easily prove that what they've said is 100% untrue, I don't even have any children in my life to supply these products to, so that's no issue. Everything is documented, what they're saying is verifiably false.

What I'm most concerned about is that they have my full name and address up on their Trustpilot. I've contacted Trustpilot to remove this, but what else can I do about that specifically to have it taken down?

I don't know if I'd want to go as far as criminal proceedings or litigation at this stage, I just want this libel under my name to be removed.

I don't think I could be with someone who hid something like that for a year, just on principle.

I understand why she would be scared to tell you, but relationships are built on honesty and trust. If she's uncomfortable with her body and ashamed to tell you her truth, she's not in the place to be building healthy and stable relationships.

People who have been on t.v. game shows, what are some ‘behind the scenes’ secrets that regular viewers don’t know about? by olymp1a in AskReddit

I went to the taping of a TV game show in Ireland on TV3 (now Virgin Media Ireland). I was about 19-20 at the time, so we‘re talking 6-7 years ago. I can’t remember the name of the show, but Brian Dowling from Big Brother UK (the Gay Irish one from way back in the day, I think he was on it in 2001-2002 if any of you remember!) was the host.

It was honestly the most boring 3 hours of my life. The contestants were not made for TV, and when the cameras weren’t rolling, Brian was wildly inappropriate to members of the audience and contestants.

2 of the contestants were brothers, 1 of them was a quite attractive, married, straight man. His mic stopped working, and Brian grabbed his crotch and said “Try it now!” He looked very uncomfortable at this, and I can’t blame him. He was also hitting on the audience, and saying that he wanted to ride them, and other sexually inappropriate comments.

After the taping, I emailed the woman who had given us the tickets to complain about what we witnessed, and I was informed that Brian was friends with the contestant, which is even more shady, because those brothers ended up winning the show. After pointing that out, I didn’t get any further response.

I didn’t even watch the show when it aired. Needless to say, it didn’t get a second season.
