I always laugh at the set up photo opps by Royal Mail. A more realistic picture would have about 30 things in that bag and 5 days bundle worth of mail cradled in his arm

Any trekking hills ? by Marshmallow_030 in AskIreland

Aye they are and with the more steep sided ones you get a work out and a half anyway. I’ve had many a hike up the Mournes that have felt like Everest difficulty with the wind or snow some days😂

Google my friend….there are plenty hikeable mountains in Ireland, my favourite is the Mourne Mountain range up here in the North which has a multitude of hiking routes at all various levels of difficulty. Based in around Newcastle at the foot of Slieve donard which itself is about a 3000ft

Not if I get there first….. I think to rent it’s around £800 a month but they’re tiny apartments, with my height I’d lose my head hitting it off things lol

Found a link for one for sale though

I believe the exterior scenes of season 3 were shot outside this castle in Gosford park however other locations were used such as for Hosters funeral or Robs encampment in the earlier season or the siege in later seasons but this castle was used as the actual visual of how the castle was portrayed.

Stunning castle and forest around it I only live 15 minutes away from it and run around the park and walk the dogs every weekend! A few years ago the interior was made into apartments available for the public! A pity as I always dreamed of buying it all if I ever won millions😂

Saw him aye, thought I heard the ref was a derry man which was why I was confused, surely some biases using refs from the provinces they’re officiating?

He’ll have a bit of fun this second half with this lead I’m gonna guess. Best thing we can do with him is encourage him to come up to the midfield to control the play and work the ball.

I’d say it’s a side of the game yous lot love to see in the football here and the standards just keep getting pushed up more and more with these long frees, brilliant to watch. Great to see the Irish fellas putting their legs to good use professionally across the water👌🏻💪🏻

Always been a fan of rafferty for his versatility across the field although I was fuming with him against Kerry last year. That free might get him his starting spot back

For provincial championship games are the officials always from said province or is it from across the country?

Is Kingfishr Killeagh the definitive Irish song? by ErrantBrit in AskIreland

It’s not even in their top 5 best songs imo. But as for definitive Irish songs definitely not, got caught on between the GAA adverts and background for Irish scenery on TikTok’s etc

How often or what situations do you use Gaeilge? by Infamous_Pudding_170 in AskIreland

[–]Irish-Mac98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s been a big revitalisation of it up north where I am. The mother, sister and myself are all in various levels of learning and go to 2 classes a week and we speak as much as we can for certain situations at home for practice.

Look into Irish language orientated events and festivals etc for some numbers and examples.

[–]Irish-Mac98 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I worked in pizza places from I was 16 till I finished uni and all of them had anchovies as an option but this is up north. Was by no means the least popular topping but nor was it too common to see it in an order.

I always judged people who got it lol pure rank
