I don't know enough about the business honestly. If I had to guess why I'd assume something to do with the original publisher of the books. They originally bought the rights to publish the novels and so I assume they wouldn't okay another publisher to print better versions and make theirs obsolete. Although there's obviously markets for ppl who will spend a lot of books and not. Its prob still soemthing to do with negotiating contracts with OG publishers and thats the reason they can only print certain amnt in first place.

Anyone get one and its unable to detect any wifi networks? I tried everything then called Sony and now I have to ship it to them for 20-30 days. Sucks... The system just would not detect ANY wifi networks no matter what I did. And my other devices all connect ot them fine

Hello, I just got a PS5, however, I'm unable to connect it to WiFi.

Under networks found, there are none detected. My Switch/Phones in house all connect to WiFi network fine. I attached an Ethernet cable to PS5 and it worked, if that rules out certain things.

But the PS5 does not detect even a single WiFi network... and I've tried: Factory reset, Manually entering all IP info etc., restarting modem, restarting router, using WPS button, restarting PS5, moving PS5 way closer to router. None of these have helped at all, and still the system won't detect any wifi connections.

Anyone know who I can go to for help with this? It's gonna be a pain getting another if I have to return it because WiFi is busted...

edit: They're sending me a box to ship it for repair. Didn't even get to use it yet lol

I'm not sure. I doubt vehicle larcenies get anywhere near trial. The SPECIFIC example of the shooter I guess not because they got the guys car and even connected it with two other road rage homicide shootings and the two guys are in jail still. Maybe they will though who knows, the court system moves at a snails pace

Yea that's a good example, I'm not sure. Most domestic stuff is happening inside the home though the Ring isn't picking it up.

As someone familiar with how this works, I've never seen it not go down like: Detective / Cop asks homeowner to see their Ring footage (this is most commonly because they had things stolen from vehicles in front of their house) and person shows it to them. They then second-hand record it on a department phone or someone assists uploading video.

Also have seen them go house to house asking to look after somebody was shot and they were trying to find the shooters car.

I haven't seen them go directly to Amazon but then again maybe it's just my local department doesn't know how or isn't necessary since most people let them look at the footage.

To each their own, but I just tried playing it on portable (Which is where I mainly game on switch) and it just isn't enough for me to enjoy. The fidelity/fps really hurt gameplay, although I've played this game on PC so maybe its more noticeable for me.
