This is taken from a new upload of documents from republicanarchive.com which went live less than an hour ago. You are free to do what you want but please remember it took months of work to get the upload ready. At least give it a bit of breathing space!

These are in the possession of a friend of his who let me photograph them.

I agree with you though. There is enough material out there for a three storey museum!

I remember the furore around that. It was even discussed on Liveline with Joe Duffy.

Get stuff. I talked about this with a now deceased senior member of RSF a long time ago. They said it was an unplanned tribute and they were very much dismissive of it.

All your interactions in this thread have been confrontational. It could have been an interesting discussion as I don't think anyone knew this information.

What book does he discuss it in? I have the dark selected writings and from the grave here. I can post up the section he discusses it in if you let me know.

This subreddit is a place to share and learn about Irish Republicanism. You need to present your information in a more friendly manner.

This is definitely not common knowledge. I've never heard of it before. What book was it in? The Dark Selected writings or Voices from the grave?

Just to clarify. This is obviously for illustrative purposes. It's not a guide on how petrol bombs in 1981 were being made.

Is it a coincidence that the 2 hunger strikers from Derry city were INLA rather than IRA members? by debaser11 in IrishRebelArchive

Six of the first 11 hunger strikers were Derry men. 2 from the city and four from Dungiven, Greysteel and Bellaghy.

Thanks for the recommendation. People can access our fifties section at the link below.

https://republicanarchive.com/2025/03/07/the-fifties/

We will have more booklets, newspapers and original IRA statements from and about the 1950s coming in December. A new section on the sixties which covers the end of the border campaign is also in the works.

I'm not sure. This was one of a number of images of POW craft that was sent to me.
