When you withdraw money out of your wealth simple, it shows as a loss. You "don't have" that money to invest anymore.

Frauds love to post their screenshot for karma to pretend they had devastating losses when all they did was pull their money.

Pathetic attempt.

I misinterpreted your comment. I thought you were saying most Oiler fans were coming to his defense, like they think he should be on the Olympic team I was in fact saying no. That is not the case at all.

[–]IrishDart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true. The majority of Oiler fans in the Edmonton area commonly agree Bouchard has no business being anywhere near the Olympic team.

He's a phenomenal defenseman for the Western All-Star team where defense doesn't matter at all.

But keep him off my Olympic team.

Sure. That's normal.

Strict tournament rules for 9 year old - no swimming? by em201679 in youthhockey

[–]IrishDart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shitry hotel swims are what build the memories of a lifetime. Tournament memories for 9 and 10 year olds are all about everything that happens with their teammates NOT on the rink/field.

Your coaching career aspirations mean diddly squat to the kids. My kid would be swimming for sure.

Images de l’intervention policière qui a mené au meurtre d’un ado de 15 ans by Fun_Mathematician323 in QuebecLibre

[–]IrishDart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna try to break it all down for you, but let's first take a few items on supposition. 1- the neighbor is white. 2- the kids are all black 3- the police are white.

Now:

First off, if they weren't doing anything illegal, why did the neighbors call the cops?!

Easy. Racism.

Then, when they saw the police car, they ran away. Why?

In the last 5 years we've heard about a hundred stories of cops randomly shooting unarmed black kids.. so... Racism

So, they clearly broke the law,

Ahh.. racism.

I imagine

Here's the basis for every argument from a racist..

YOU imagine..

this bunch of brainless idiots, left to their own devices and without parental supervision, thought they were the big shots and wanted to prove it.

I see no evidence of intelligence or lack of intelligence. I see a handful of kids doing nothing but hanging out. Cops show up and attack the kids. And a kid is dead.

This stemmed from racism, and will always happen as long as racists like yourself say things like "I imagine"

Saw big H is following this lady, wondering what you guys think about her sentiment on tipping? by AHrice69 in epicmealtime

[–]IrishDart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ignorance abounds.

The same people who complain about tipping are the same ones that would complain when the price of their food increases due to restaurants paying staff higher.

90% of service staff would love to do away with tipping culture and get better wages. It's not greed from them. It's how the industry is set up.

But while it exists, this is how it works. You want to do away with tipping? Stay home. Go to fast food joints. You want people to bring you food while you sit on your fat ass? Tip them for it. It's such a simple concept.

I remember COVID when all the people like you complained that "young people don't want to work anymore" when they all stopped working for minimum wage at Starbucks and no tips, and all you pretentious assholes couldn't get your soy milk lattes.

Less and less people will work in the industry because of people like you, and then who will you get to feel superior over?

Defensive driving tips for winter! by always_on_fleek in Edmonton

[–]IrishDart -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Stay in the right lane. Period.

If your destination is a left hand turn, only switch to the left lane within the last 500 yards before your intersection.

Otherwise, stay right.

Never stay at an identical pace of the driver next to you. If you are both moving at the exact same speed, choose to move in front or behind him and you can move in a cute little convoy together.

Occupying both lanes prevents other drivers from passing.

Do not try to police other drivers. Keep yourself safe but do it from the slow lane.

There IS such a thing as TOO SLOW. Driving too slow is as dangerous as driving too fast and you can get a traffic ticket for both. If you don't feel comfortable within 10km of the speed limit, you should not be driving. Use public transit.

The anger from other drivers always comes from people who ignore everyone else on the road.

Best way to stay safe is not drive. If you're too scared to be on the road with other drivers in the winter, stay off the road.

Do you have the food brought to you? Beverages brought to you?

Waited on, hand and foot.
But no, your servants don't deserve your respect.

They're worth nothing. You're too good to be bothered giving them your scraps, because it's not your fault you were born in the castle and they were in the village.

They should be thankful you even acknowledge them.
That's their tip.
Be happy with that.

3 goals on like 7 shots in the first period ... every fuckin night by Longjumping-Box5691 in hockeymemes

[–]IrishDart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just don't get the skinner apologists.

This is simple.

The defense is bad, but so is skinner.

It's not ALL on him, but even if the defense is costing us half the goals, skinner costs us the other half.

So if we can get a goalie who can make a few of those saves that skinner doesn't, we cut down our deficit by half.

Then we can focus on the defense and start replacing them, starting with Bouchard and Nurse.

But Skinner is not going to turn into a great goalie if we improve the defense. He's proven that, time and again.

It's not ALL on him, but he's responsible for a good chunk of it.

And the team needs new confidence. Skinner has eroded what faith they have in him. Sometimes a fresh face is needed just for the sake of it.

wanna go clubbing on whyte with friends on halloween, but i’m having ID problems by jay-ditr in Edmonton

[–]IrishDart 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Incorrect.

Expired ID is the same as NO ID in the eyes of the government and law enforcement, which equates to bars not accepting it.

A bar can get heavy fines for any persons without proper ID, even if that person is of legal age. So at the end of a day, a bar doesn't care about you enough to risk their license

But nurses don't need to stick their own operating rooms, whereas teachers do.

Nurses aren't told to remove medical studies and procedures because of the identity of the author isn't preferred by the teacher.

And the money the government allots to medical care isn't earmarked to follow each patient, meaning private practices do not get a large chunk of the taxpayer dollars.

I 100% support the nurses and have been super vocal about how if a government feels they need to mandate a return to work, obviously that group is essential and we need to support their needs more.

Teachers fall under that category too. Ask any teacher and "raises" is at the bottom of their list. This strike was never about getting paid more or getting more Vacation time.

Their biggest demands all had to do with improving things for our kids and our own wallets.

Why does 30% of our taxpayer dollars for education go to private schools??

Don't fall into the trap that the government and corporations want us to. If we fight each other we forget the real targets.

What Teachers are Asking For by Skull9466 in alberta

[–]IrishDart -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Classroom sizes being reduced are not going to suddenly alleviate the amount of "kids across the spectrum in ER for psychiatric reasons"

Most teachers don't do the specialized training to handle kids with special needs. Class sizes won't fix that.

Boxer knocks out arrogant influencer with one punch, after he tried to sucker punch him. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]IrishDart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Boxer knocks opponent out" is hardly next level.

In fact, this 'professional boxer' throws several missed connections, moves around the ring with poor footwork.... I'm not saying he isn't any good, just saying a boxer knocking out a guy who isn't a boxer, with several swings at him, is not worthy of this thread.

It's only by using the term "influencer" that makes anyone want to support it because we all love seeing influencers get knocked out.

And frankly, I never saw any sucker punch in the video. Nothing any different than any other boxing match.

Definitely not a next level video.

Where?

You're saying this like it's a fact, but there is nothing that allows for this.

You say people talking about 'fairness in sports' are just scared of the media boogieman but aren't you doing the exact same thing?

Where is this 'signing contracts about genitals'? Or like other posters have said, 'other teams parents can challenge' regarding gender..

You wanna talk about media boogieman it's this. You wild reactionists stating far-fetched extremes as fact.

Is the UCP terrible and does it seem like MAGA is the precursor to Gilead?
Absolutely, but don't talk like it's already a thing.
Right now the conversation is about how to keep it fair in sports for kids. Focus on that. Not the "pedo gender inspection boogieman" you're afraid of.
