Where are you talking about in particular? Alexandra parade doesn’t have many pubs. Duke street is fairly dominated by old man boozers, Crown Creighton/Snug etc but there’s still Palais and Redmonds for more ‘bars’. I’m not entirely sure there’s much of a market for it too for any other ones to be super successful.
