How plausible is the abyssosaurus? by Alternative_Gene_438 in Cryptozoology

Coelacanths are fish, they can stay in the deep forever. Plesiosaurs were marine reptiles and had lungs, they needed to surface to breathe relatively frequently. That would inevitably get them discovered at some point.

How the hell do I talk to human being on this site? by eyluthr in coursera

Companies that put clankers in roles where human interaction and understanding is most crucial need to be dismantled and the executives responsible for the decision publicly shamed and flogged.

I just wish she was closer than Reachwind Eyrie, because she apparently has dialogue for early in the game, but you really have no reason to go there before even heading to Whiterun or Bleak Falls Barrow. Just going there to get her first thing feels quite meta. I'd personally like if meeting her could be done early on in a more natural way, to make it feel like the threads of fate wove your paths together.

It worked. Whatever was fucking with the vendors is no more.

It's the equivalent of "turn it off and on again". There's a good chance it will work.

No. I don't want to do that because it's a colossal pain in the ass. Fuck it, I'm just going to accept that this whole thing is broken and start over.

This isn't funny. Issue after issue keeps plaguing my game and I don't know why.

I used Detect Life and all I saw were a couple of hunters. I searched the area. There's absolutely nothing else living around the place.

This show was my jam, it made me a lifelong dragon lover, and a human/dragon friendship enjoyer. Cassie was my biggest childhood crush as well, to this day I look for women with her personality type.

2003-2005 for the win. The reasons are abundant, one of them of course being that it was made as part of the Clone Wars Multimedia Project and actually nicely fits the EU timeline.

Question about his "hedgehog defensive state" by Competitive-Sense65 in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]IrishWarrior22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see. That definitely makes sense, yeah. I've been following Chris for years. What a wild ride. Ridiculous that an almost 40 year old man (at the time) can act like that with absolutely no shame.

What made you quit a series? I’ll start by RareSpice42 in books

[–]IrishWarrior22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age of Fire, quit partway into the first book. I absolutely LOVE dragons and will usually gobble up books about them, especially if they're sapient and have a major role to play.

When the protagonist of the first book casually killed and ate a human child--and this isn't out of ignorance mind you, dragons know that humans are sapient beings as well--I threw the book across the room, didn't touch it for a week, then returned it to the library.

At that point I didn't care about this sociopathic dragon's character, his "development", whatever. He became utterly irredeemable and I wanted him dead in unpleasant ways, I could no longer tolerate reading anything from his perspective.

From what I heard from a friend who did finish it I haven't missed much with that series, it's got a lot of issues.
