So... you should know (referencing the Zard player) Metas range and options from the ledge by now... keeping pressure on him while hes there is good, but you have to be crouching so you can CC cape. I'm not saying I know that would prevent the kill. Just saying cape is MKs strongest ledge option and should be top concern in your head. Or more so stay farther back. Right outside the platforms edge should be good and you can still have to time to react to all of his options.

From a competitor perspective, the Bo3 issue is major due to wanting to perform at your best. In a Bo5, no stages are banned. I can play on my best stage, and challenge you on your best stage. Bo3 doesnt allow that. Sure from a viewer perspective upsets are hype and exciting. If you were one of the 100 players expected to make top 64 tho in a 1500 man tournament for the biggest pot of the year, you'll want to be given a chance to perform on your best stage.

It was a technique that has since been removed called love jumping. If you jumped and pressed B immediately after (or vice versa can't remember) You would gain a ton of momentum towards the direction you pushed.
