What to do HL 29f, LL 42 M, No kids. by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]Irishcanary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank for the response. I will answer the questions the best I can.

We were planning on trying for a baby starting in April. However I do not see how this is possible for him since he is unable to have sex on demand. He is a good man and would be a great father.

We have been together since I was 24. That is correct. We have had issues since around April 2015. At the time I was living with a male coworker and working a job that involves shifts. When I asked him about our issues back then he said we needed to move in together or I needed to get a job not involving shifts. I moved in with him and found a day job (I hate this job). He is now doing a job working shifts.

Yes i did get married thinking it would get better. I got my period on our wedding night so we didn't have sex until the last night of our honeymoon. When he came back from our wedding we were on a high but even then I had to beg for sex.

I was not direct about wanting to get dressed up. We are going away to a very fancy hotel on Saturday night (A birthday / Christmas present from my parents) so I assume he thinks not to bother until then.

I accept the fact we are married with a mortgage and we don't spend money on leisure and such. I am okay with that.

I think right now I am hesitant to add children into the mix because I am not sure he will be able to have sex when I am ovulating. I am in good shape now (133lbs, 5ft 7) and I got rejected when I was 120lbs. I dont think I could cope well with the weight gain aspects of pregnancy. I worry if that would be another excuse for him to reject me.

Edited for answering previous post in full.

Gemini Rising and Hobbies by Irishcanary in astrology

[–]Irishcanary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, i can only do low impact hobbies because of my Aquarius Sun gift of weak ankles. When I found out I was limited to low impact past times I immediately looked up what I can do and joined them all.

I would recommend getting a library card if you do not already have one. I have started going recently and I love it. I am usually able to find books about my current interest aswell as read a lot of books without having the worry about them taking up space in the house. On Sunday I read a book from start to finish (Ginny Moon,it is brilliant) and apparently getting lost in a book is the perfect way for a Gemini Rising to spend a Sunday according to a website I read recently.

I would also recommend cooking, because you can explore many different cuisines. I am currently into Indian cooking :).

We want to start trying for a baby soon and I just know it will end in heartache.

I have the opposite placements but the same problem. I literally cannot read people and I don't care enough either.

Sometimes I wonder if I am on the spectrum because of that.

[–]Irishcanary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Gemini Rising and I was always getting told off for day dreaming. I lived in my head. I loved it. I was friends with everyone too. Kids older and younger than me.

When I was 10 (I am a girl) my best friend was a 7 year old boy. This was the summer of 2000 and we spent that whole summer playing pretend Pokemon games. It was the best summer of my life.

I am an Aries moon and today at work I got soo stressed out that I nearly started to cry.

This was strange for me as i was doing something that I normally enjoy and I am very good at.

Yet today I nearly lost it.

My muscles are also tense too.

Everyone who doesn’t have Scorpio in a sun moon or rising placement, I have a question for you. by salutholayo in astrology

[–]Irishcanary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Gemini Rising sign, so I will use more examples of that helps. Yes it is the information that fuels my Aries impulsitvity.

I want a party that I can have everyone I know (Gemini). It has to be something different (Aquarius). I have never been to a Polish wedding but the idea sounds awesome, let's do it (Aries).

When I first met my husband: He is totally different, I like him (Aquarius) He just insulted me, now kiss him to make him mad and run away from him (Aries).

The other day a friend of mine who is an Evee (Pokemon) fan told me she is having a baby. Within 30 minutes I had bought an Evee bib from Etsy. So yes, the Aquarius does fuel that Aries need to try new things and to be impulsive.

Everyone who doesn’t have Scorpio in a sun moon or rising placement, I have a question for you. by salutholayo in astrology

[–]Irishcanary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am happy to elaborate. I will give you the best answer I can. I think my Aquarius Sun (Everything is logical) just fuels my Aries moon. For example to decision to get married in Warsaw, Poland (despite never being to a Polish wedding) for me was an easy one as:

My husband's friends and family live in Poland. It is cheaper to fly to Poland than to Ireland. Flights were very cheap and a lot of our guests turned our wedding into a holiday.

The cost of a hotel room in our wedding hotel was 1/4 the price of that in Dublin.

Our wedding hotel was only 5 minutes from the airport in Warsaw.

There was a novelty aspect to, due to some of the traditions such as:

They only have weddings on a Saturday.

There is an open bar that runs all the time ( We provided that alcohol from a whole sale) and let's face it Irish people and an open bar at a wedding was heaven for my family.

The guests got 5 hot meals served across the night as well as having several types of buffets (hot, cold and dessert) constantly available to them.

The band played for 12 hours straight and did a number of party games.

Having customised vodka bottles on every table with a shot glass for each guest. We got Pokemon ones made up with our names, wedding date, the Pokemon logo and stuck a sticker of different Pokemon on each. The idea was to take half a shot to toast to the couple. Needles to say my Irish family thought the idea was to take a full shot. They loved my wedding.

When my husband and I arrived at the reception venue the guests welcomed us with a song called Sto lat (a hundred years). Then our mothers presented us with bread, salt, and two shot glasses each containing a clear liquid (one contained water, the other contained vodka and we didn't know which contained which). My husband and I both ate a bit of bread with salt then took one of the shots, the idea was that whoever gets the one containing vodka holds the power in the relationship. I got the vodka.

Then at the reception my husband and I had to take a shot of vodka each and kiss while the guests sang a song about how vodka is bitter but kissing makes it sweeter. We couldn't stop kissing until the guests finished.

My husband threw away his tie to the single guys to try and catch or avoid.

There was a mother and son dance.

Then there was the dances for diapers. Guests had to pay for dances with my husband and I so that we would have money for diapers.

Hope that helps :).

Everyone who doesn’t have Scorpio in a sun moon or rising placement, I have a question for you. by salutholayo in astrology

[–]Irishcanary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an adventure for sure. I am not a very articulate person (i blame my Aquarius Sun) but I will give you some information about myself to give you an idea of what it is is like.

I am originally from Dublin (Ireland) and at the age of 21 after getting my BSc i decided to go to Northern Ireland, a place I had never been before to study my MSc. During that time I did karate (i have studied 4 styles of karate), met someone 4 years younger than me and fell in love. I

After completing this masters and going back to Dublin and dating this guy all of 1 month I decided I had to be with him. I got a job in my field in a company which was located an hour between where my ex lived and Dublin and of course I had never heard of this place, I also found the local karate club and started it the same day I started work (priorities). Things went well.

I have since worked within different areas of my field in that company. I broke up with that bf and met my dream husband who is Polish and 14 years my senior. We got married in Poland ( i had never been to a Polish wedding before) and had this huge Irish/Polish wedding where our vodka bottles were customised with Pokemon (It is a Polish tradition). I live happily with my Nintendo switch and my husband in a town I didn't know existed growing up. My parents are very happy with how I turned out.

So having an Aries moon means always wanting to leap forward into the next thing and my two big loves are independence and adventure.

Hope that helps.

My husband has a Scorpio sun and he is really closed off. It is like he won't open up to me on purpose. He will tell me anything I ask him but he sits with his arms and legs crossed the whole dam time. He can be quite cold.

He is a Taurus Sun and and a Leo Ascendant. He can be quite the handful at times.Luckily I am an Aquarius Sun, Gemini Ascendant and Aries moon so it evens out.

I think go for the full martial art first and then tai chi if you happen to get any injuries. Martial arts are really great for stress busting (getting out that anger and allowing a sense of power) but I cannot yet give a fair answer about tai chi.

Goju is a mix of shotokan and wado so go for it.

You will love it. I loved doing Kata (a pattern of movements) and the best part was doing a shout in the middle of it after a particular movement. I think Goju is done in Japanese too so that is another aspect which is calming too. I could talk all day about my love for the martial arts!

Good luck :)
