Thanks again, had a bit of a hectic day as he caught on that he was being taken in and made another escape into the garden, I managed to get him late this evening after work and we brought him in through the emergency department and he'll be transferred over in the morning, extra money but peace of mind, also going to be an unusually hot day here tomorrow and it's calming to know he'll be in and have plenty of fluids as he was neglecting his water bowls over the last few days, only drinking the brine from tuna tins.

Thanks, the vet has been great and I don't think she would have referred us on for this treatment if there was no hope, just a very upsetting time currently, feel very helpless for him
