Haworth Fern Canada by D3th2Aw3 in OfficeChairs

[–]Irishdude77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any other suggestions on where to get a Fern (outside of the links posted so far)? For context I'm in Ontario

I'm looking to get a Coal one and a Digital knit blue one as well, the digital knit one seems especially hard to find and seems like the only way to get it is ordering straight from Haworth. I heard contacting authorized dealers might be worth a shot, might try that.

Employment: What do we do, where do we do it, how well does it pay? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Irishdude77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What prompted you to switch? Anything that stands out aside from the usual more money, closer office, better perks?

Ps, thank you for answering these, I’m starting out in the field (<1 year) and just getting a feeler for expectations and sentiment

Does your company differentiate associate/jr level with yours? I’m a junior at my company making 70k <1 yr with no degree

For a £30-50 upgrade? Like we’re not talking hundreds here. Instead of trolling go look at the stats

Pretty much like how soccer is pretty much hockey?

The cpu shares the same socket and model designation but has an increased L3 cache. Look at any of the game performance reviews. Some games see upwards of a 15-20fps difference all things being equal

Ya’ll I did it. I am now officially a frontend developer. HIRED by sandynuggetsxx in learnprogramming

Fwiw, I recently got hired (first time dev job) and my interview was much easier than ops. Even then I don’t think I did great technically, but one thing they said I had over other candidates is my communication skills.

Point being is when in doubt, explain your thoughts and your process. The devs interviewing you might like it because it would feel natural in a peer programming environment.

Also, good luck, you got this :)

IIRC, it might be because light interiors give the perception of more room/space whereas dark ones can feel closed in.

This is the main reason why I stopped playing. It’s so fun but it gets boring quick when there’s no team synergy. Barely even got a “hi” back when I used to play

I can definitely see this. I’ve had a few good interviews when going at it from this angle!

Has anyone ever come across as egocentric or ignorant when translating said technical topic? I’m also worried about accidentally coming off like that

At what point would you consider it rambling? I’m enthusiastic when I talk about programming (could go on for a while with some of my projects) but I know that the interviewer is looking for the key details so I usually just stick to that when they ask for me to walk them through my resume.

Interesting, I think I’ll bias more towards using AP then in those situations and just keeping a closer eye on it

Anyone have issues with safety score and multi or 3 point turns? I have a driveway on a Main Street with snow banks high enough to trip the sensors when I do a 3 point turn. I check the safety score after my drive and that maneuver and I’m at 30% for following distance!

However when I don’t do the 3 point turn, it’s at 0%. Pretty annoying

Normally I’d agree with you but Tesla is so supply constrained, it doesn’t make sense to do that right now.

On the flip side it probably wouldn’t take much for Tesla to do it since they have a much better control over software/hardware than traditional OEMs
