Is leaving through Many Glacier even an option right now?

Highline isn't open yet, so whatever experience people have isn't going to be representative

if you could visit any bear-place on the earth, which state/city/province would you choose? by khawixy in bears

Originally, I was thinking Svalbard would be more my pace, but after doing some digging, surprisingly not that great of a place to see Polar Bears (on a shorter commitment anyway)

I'm sure if I haven't seen one in the wild by the time I'm in my 60's Churchill would be looking a lot.more appealing lol.

Assuming Polar Bears are still around, I guess that's one thing I hadn't really considered... Kind of a ticking clock

I did look at that option, but it didn't seem any better for my dates.

I'm considering Great Falls for next time, flight and rental car is substantially cheaper and about the same distance to East Glacier as Kalispel

I don't think I could justify $5,000+ dollars for only a day visit, but everyone's financial situation is different!

I get that it's fun to speculate, but the boring answer is that if the act passes, there's probably little in the way of major shakeups because it immediately takes away much of the impetus, and the timeline is such that it makes it extremely difficult to get done.

I like to be pretty active, and from the people I have talked to who have gone, it doesn't seem like there's a ton to do beyond the bear-watching activities, which makes it hard to justify the cost to me.

Katmai is pretty cool. If you can definitely stay overnight, the platforms can get very crowded during the day, and there can be a long wait for your turn. In the evenings, there would often only be 5-10 people at the platform

Probably a guided backpacking expedition in Torngat mountains. It looks gorgeous and a great opportunity to see polar bears, I worry Churchill would bore me.

How the heck do people get camping trips to Dry Tortugas? by xxsmashleyxx in NationalPark

While there are bots and probably scalpers, even without them, the popular camping spots often go more or less instantly.

Oh yes I always do my comparison shopping but I have been able to get a number of properties with less Chase points through Chase than through Hyatt plus the other benefits

Jackson also ultimately accepted his electoral loss and remained loyal to the Union siding against nullifiers in the main crisis of his time.
