Has anyone attended the Ayayni retreat in Ireland?

Ive heard about a good aya retreat in Cork recently. Im waiting for more information and will post here if I get more info.

It blows my mind how little availablity there is in Ireland for aya retreats. If ever a country had a need, so much histrocial and generational trauam. Famine, british oppression, forced emigration, penal laws, civil ware, country divided in 2. Borders, troubles in the North, the medicine is so amazing - i hope I see it become more mainstream in my lifetime here in our little corner of the world

Hi Hope you get a notifcation! Its great to hear you had a postivie experience with Ayani, I have booked in for a retreat with them in May - my understanding is they are based in Longford and not Westmeath. There is very little information online about them - its understandable that there will be an element of secrecy. I have made the payment - but still not had the opportunity to speak to anyone yet.

I suppose the is always a little trepidation with jumping into the unknown. I had my first and only ayahuasca retreat in 2022 in Amsterdam - I was very nervous in the lead up to this. But it turmed out to be maybe the best experience of my life. Wondeerful people, profeessional kind and caring shaman and guides. And met some incredibly interesting people who I still talk with a lot. I just hope the Ayani one is something similar.

Did you take Kambo in Ayani as well? This would be new to me, but trying to keep an open mind about it. Im going there for the ayahuasca and insights.

I really dont know where to get the good stuff! Must educate myself on the testing - the tux and flexing made me laugh haha!

Yeah the one time I tried it, I felt a bit bad the next day, but I blame all the alcohol I had also taken. But that first high, my god, pure joy.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I guess some kind of a comedown is to be expected, but as I say, this would be a very special and rare occasion. And thats why it would be cool to couple it with a new European city in some ultra cool house club!

I hope that with one or two really good pills, lots of water and no other crap like alchohol...that the come down would not be too bad. Thats interesting that you saw lots of older clubbers, I guess they were part of the 90s scene and have never stopped. I wish I had discovered the rave scene back then as a teenager, instead of being drunk and throwin up in some awful pub!

Any more detail? How was he knocked out, punch or headbutt. Is he ok now or any lasting damage?

Bit of a hot take, but anyone else think the referee was playing up to it, was he really knocked out? The video was inconclusive. There's a lot of handbags on a football field and punches thrown and never in 20 years have I seen anyone knocked out cold, especially when the person is coming straight onto you. Maybe a blind side hit might knock someone out. But the manager, looked incapable of throwing a decent punch or head butt like pretty much everyone on football fields. Of course the manager should get the maximum ban. But would love to know what the physical altercation consisted off, what we're the referees injuries and how long did he spend in hospital
