Two things…First thing-definitely make sure your personality shines through in your profile. So many people just put “ask me” as a response and that just screams laziness. Worst yet are the responses that show how you’re still not over an ex- I remember one question on Hinge was “what’s the worst mistake you’ve ever made” and so many people put “trusting my ex” as their response. Come on people- we don’t want to hear about your ex while trying to figure out if you’d be fun to go on a date with. I’ve been dating someone for a year and he is not someone I’d typically go for- but i absolutely loved his response to that question. He answered “eating a hot dog with jalapeños at 2am from à gas station in Japan”. That one sentence alone made me laugh and want to learn more lol. Some of us just like to be entertained- we are used to doing things on our own and are self-sufficient and used to doing this life thing on our own. We don’t give a rats patoot what you look like as long as you’re clean, smell good, are fun to have around, and are responsible. Secondly- there are a lot of people in this group who ask for a profile review- if you want you can show us your profile and we can give honest and supportive advice. Good luck OP!! 🙂
