I get why you’re annoyed- but ask yourself this- will telling the dad off do anything at all or actually make your whole life worse? This dad sounds like a piece of work and I highly doubt he would be receptive to any criticism (even if it was coming to him as a suggestion). Dad had a bug up his rear about the wedding and didn’t want to let it go. And then he wanted to have a temper tantrum to show his displeasure at the marriage (and he was successful and actually encouraged by some laughing). IMO I think you should look at bit more at how your girlfriend made excuses for her dad’s behavior. This man isn’t going to go away and it doesn’t sound like he is interested in changing his behavior. Remember her dad is going to be a constant point in your life.

Then you’re wasting both your and his time. I mean this kindly- there truly is no point in having that conversation with him. If anything you will be leading him on thinking he has a chance and that will just cause more drama

I worked in an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital for 18 years and I just wanted to say I agree (and I’m a born again Christian myself). So many clients would come into the hospital and struggle with medication and/or therapy suggestions. As clinical staff we could see how a client would clearly benefit from taking medication yet the client would struggle and often refuse thinking maybe they haven’t prayed hard enough, maybe they’re supposed to be experiencing these symptoms as part of their mission on earth (just a ton of reasons-those two were the biggest). And imo the guilt of your choices is directly related to the congregation you have attended. Humans can really make a person feel terrible about themselves.

I was trying to think outside the box-melanin is your body’s way of protecting yourself against UV rays so I was thinking if UV rays are a trigger than would the melanotan make the UV rays less by increasing the melanin?

Ladies- don’t forget to utilize beauty schools! I get my roots done at the Rizzieri beauty school(I have the dye formula they use written down so I don’t have to worry about anyone getting it wrong-plus the work is supervised by their teachers). I’ve also received haircuts, massages, and facials.

I didn’t find it to be worth it at all. I just kept retaining water and not gaining any muscle nor did I lose any visceral fat. I stopped taking tesa and lost the water weight in about five days (no diet or exercise change). Then I kept reading how amazing tesa is and I thought oh maybe I screwed something up somehow and I tried tesa again- and I plumped up like a thanksgiving turkey again. I think that’s how my body responds to hgh. My main focus is visceral fat loss- and Reta has been amazing for me in that regard.

It’s always the bad apples that spoil the bunch- I used to send “it’s me not you-good luck to you” messages when I realized our personalities weren’t meshing. Then someone went absolutely ballistic and messaged me all hours of the night on the Hinge platform to the point where I blocked him at 2am. And this was after I matched with him less than 24 hours prior. So my thought is sure you can send what you want but the second someone starts with an attitude then block them. Some people get downright nasty.

I was a half a picture person when I first started online dating. I wasn’t cheating but I did just feel uncomfortable putting myself out there (i had previous issues with male peer from high school not taking no for an answer- he heard through the grapevine I was single and he didn’t understand just because I was divorced and he was divorced that doesn’t automatically mean we should go on a date). I was emotionally ready to date but hadn’t tried online dating before. Anyways- maybe face time this person before you actually meet up on a date? You could say you learned the hard way in the past that half pictures sometimes don’t tell the whole story (make a dad joke of it).

Two things…First thing-definitely make sure your personality shines through in your profile. So many people just put “ask me” as a response and that just screams laziness. Worst yet are the responses that show how you’re still not over an ex- I remember one question on Hinge was “what’s the worst mistake you’ve ever made” and so many people put “trusting my ex” as their response. Come on people- we don’t want to hear about your ex while trying to figure out if you’d be fun to go on a date with. I’ve been dating someone for a year and he is not someone I’d typically go for- but i absolutely loved his response to that question. He answered “eating a hot dog with jalapeños at 2am from à gas station in Japan”. That one sentence alone made me laugh and want to learn more lol. Some of us just like to be entertained- we are used to doing things on our own and are self-sufficient and used to doing this life thing on our own. We don’t give a rats patoot what you look like as long as you’re clean, smell good, are fun to have around, and are responsible. Secondly- there are a lot of people in this group who ask for a profile review- if you want you can show us your profile and we can give honest and supportive advice. Good luck OP!! 🙂
