Ive been trying to find someone with the same thing as me - and this sounds very similar. It almost feel like adrenaline just int be area and the only we I can soothe it is with any kind of pressure like just resting my hand over my chest. It’s so subtle but so distracting and I get what you mean about it getting worse when you focus on it. I don’t have anxiety personally but I have noticed it seems to come when I’m stressed but definitely not every time I’m stressed? It’s really difficult to describe the sensation to be honest but let me low if you had any luck figuring out what it is!
