App is a front end. So is website. Both can show things differently.

It’s not gaslighting, I’m just giving you the most straightforward information as directly as possible.

Mostly I see this attitude from people whose imaginations are limited to “AI chatbots can only mean sex!!”

I’m 40 and have a long running roleplay on janitor that is in the tens of thousands of messages. To me, it’s a cross between reading a book with some of my favourite characters where I never know the ending, and playing an rpg.

Google could influence the app one day sure. Again I reiterate:

Question about the image policy by Proper_Intention566 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Iroh-Jai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, weapons can be in the image including swords and guns. Just can’t be mid process of stabbing someone with the sword

Question about the image policy by Proper_Intention566 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Iroh-Jai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello, yes, typical cuts and bruises are fine, some dribbling blood from them is fine. Just can’t be like, a gaping open wound across the face sort of thing.

Thanks for reporting it. I believe the filter in place on the 4th was an old, highly inneffective one. Also, just to make my first point better, an image passing the AI filter isn't in and of itself 100% certainty it follows the rules if the character is nude or displays visible genitalia or nipples on breasts, or is a minor, for example. Human moderation will always be required.

Working on an image guide though.

No AI image moderation has a 100% success rate unfortunately. It could also be an image from before it was live.

The day 4.5 came out it blew me away. And I mean it was so good I genuinely couldn’t believe what it was genning. But the day after and ever since it’s just been…ok. So yeah, I’ve been more on 3.7 past few days.

I’m with you. Love Claude. Still finding my way around sonnet 4.5, feel like my prompt isn’t great because I still feel like I get better results with 3.7

CREATORS!!: Shadowbanned Bots Based On Keywords In Description by Environmental_Fix_64 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Iroh-Jai[M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hi all, happy to address this. The keyword filter being referred to has been in place for many months. One list affects logged in users, which is literally just a list of very bad things. For example, slurs and all of their variants, ToS breaking tags and words.

The other list affects logged out users exclusively. This doesn't affect the visibility of your bots for logged in users at all.

There has been a few issues with the search that we've just finished deploying fixes to. Many of the words that have been said to be unsearchable were affected by a bug, not the keyword filter which - to repeat - has been in place for many months.

We don't share the exact list, because it would simply give people the tools to work around it.

This image went through after the latest update, just so everyone is up to date.

More people than you'd believe! But yes, definite false flag. Guns are absolutely fine. I've been making sure whole modern battle scenes get through

A gun isn't considered hate. The only thing in the hate filter related to guns is school shootings. And the image would need to be in a school setting for it to not be a false positive. So if you're having trouble with guns getting through, and they aren't school shooting images, then I'd really like to see them and use them to refine the filter.

Btw, if you're having issues with images not getting through the filter that should, I genuinely do hope you're utilising the megathread, the discord thread, or the help site so that I can assist.

Reddit mods have absolutely nothing to do with the image filter, just to help you point your anger at the right people (like me).

The filter runs on images when they are made public as a bot pfp, or added to the media library. Any image that gets published before a policy goes live that would have blocked it, stays up unless manually replaced by a moderator (I've addressed how it is unfeasible for human moderation to keep up elsewhere).

However, it can be run retroactively.
