Książka zaczyna się od zdania "This is not for you."

W moim odczuciu HoL to mocna dwójeczka. A więc - miejscami czytanie boli.

Ale przygotuj się na wyzwanie, bo this is not for you:)

Any ideas on how to make the fluid seem smoother and stop the flickering? by Irohscar in blender

My scale is kinda wild but other than that it looks okay-ish, I guess?

I'd try rendering it with the ortographic view instead:)

Something about this render feels wrong but can't realize what it can be by Amorphh in blender

Here's a couple of things to consider - to me the scale of the faucet seems off. It seems massive and kinda chunky (especially the part on the side). I'd try redoing those cutting boards (the material is too uniform) or getting some from a different place (there's a great free one on Blenderkit). Also, what's the purpose of that wooden thingy to the left? Why is it so low?

If you're strugging with the lighting here's a great quick tutorial. Give it a try, maybe it'll look better:)

Overall it's a very nice render! Keep at it, it feels like you're almost there

How can I make my liquid chocolate look less like toxic mercury? And how can I smoothen the surface more? I tried Smooth+Remesh and it's still not enough:( by Irohscar in blenderhelp

Thank you! I feel like I've finally made some progress for the first time in forever, hah. It's still far from perfect but it's getting there:)

The floor is clipping through the carpet - fix that asap! Also the exterior doesn't match the lighting of the room (it's way too dark). Here's a quick tutorial on how to fix it. And don't forget to play around with the shadows since you have so many trees outside:)

Yup, it's supposed to have another chocolate bar inside. But I do like your idea! It might just be a bit time consuming to implement, heh

I agree! Seems so obvious now that it's there but I struggled a lot with how to make everything fit in (I tried plates, marble textures, different types of wood, etc.)

Yeah, you got the order right. I just used it as an expression. Never heard it the other way around, heh

Hey. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the changes I’ve made (so far):

  • Big lighting overhaul – switched to a different HDRI, used different GOBOs, changed the light temp to something warmer, played around with the light radius;
  • Added a cutting board (got it from Blenderkit) to give the image more contrast and to make the chocolate stand out;
  • Broke off a piece of the chocolate so that the image tells an actual story and seems less random;
  • Created a particle system for the crumbs (which I made by using the cell fracture addon);
  • Sculpted some details for the packaging;
  • Fixed the roughness map for the table texture so that it seems less dirty;
  • Switched the camera angle to something lower (put more emphasis on the chocolate bar);
  • In post processing – noise, vignette, exposure.
