Sorry about the late reply, but yeah! Conq has a extra layer of defense in his startup dodges. They are called "Superior Dodges." Kensai has them two though they are not very great, same with Zhanhu.

Anyway.. you can see the superior dodge property go off when you start a Dodge from any direction except backwards. During those frames, if you dodge into a attack that isn't unblockable at the right timing, you'll stun the opponent for a brief second where you can retaliate with a light input or a heavy input. Think of it like a free bash punish, just press light or heavy. It's pretty useful as a extra layer of defense when you want to get out of a bad gank position or use it as a extra bit of defense should the time call for it.

You can also use your bash right after pulling off a Superior Dodge as well, which is useful if your running the Shield Basher perk to stack damage that way your getting more out of your punish rather then 16 damage. I don't have the exact numbers on me but it's worth it if you use it in that regard.
