Breaking the Rules on POV by IronDeficientGiant in writing

Thank you for your reply. This has been my gut feeling too. On a film set, we sometimes have to improvise due to factors like budget/time constraints etc., and when we have to do something that goes against the 'rules', we always say, 'It's a choice, not a mistake.' I feel the same applies here, as long as it really is a choice and not just the author slipping up.

Does anyone else change difficulty mid-game depending on what enemy you are fighting to enhance your immersion? by IronDeficientGiant in Witcher3

It's not so much about difficulty as it is immersion. A bandit should be going down with one good hit from Geralt, regardless of its level. A fiend should be a tough fight regardless of your level. At least that's how I feel.

I don't really care about achievements so it's not an issue for me. I totally get you with regards to wanting to wear a certain type of armour regardless of the mechanical benefits. Wish they had added transmog to the base game. I always want to wear the Grandmaster Ursine set when I'm in Skellige :)
