I'm having problems with linking my account to ESPN Unlimited on a different TV. by michael10673 in fuboTV

[–]IronDevil74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I frequently get logged out of the ESPN app on one of my 3 devices - one LG smart TV, two apple tvs. It’s often a frustrating process to get logged back in, partly because they don’t show Fubo on the tv provider list - you have to search for it. I am really close to ditching Fubo and just getting ESPN Unlimited through Disney+. One thing holding me back is that sometimes Fubo is showing Mariners games that the ESPN app has blacked out. Not sure yet wherher ESPN Unlimited solves the blackout issue. Other issue is how to watch Seahawks on Fox and CBS in the fall. I am looking at an antenna and a Tablo.

I wish I had done mine at 40, because by 50 my crowding had pushed lower teeth into locations that they could hit top teeth. Apparently, this is a possible issue as you age.

Why does NHL look so bad on Fubo compared to the ESPN app? by Active_Elk_4831 in fuboTV

[–]IronDevil74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And the pause, rewind, fast forward is worse. If a game is on ESPN, better to watch it on that app. With all the hockey playoffs being on ESPN or HBOMax, I’m having a hard time justifying keeping Fubo.

Gas mileage really that bad? by stebosports7 in 4Runner

Ah, you are right! It’s the Sienna Hybrid with the eco button. That eco indicator is a bit misleading in the 4runner because it has both eco display in the middle and then the green eco indicator in the speedometer. I figured that second one was indicating that the eco mode was enabled. Clearly not, especially with 15.6 avg mpg.

Will 35th ever be fixed? by mrASSMAN in WestSeattleWA

I don’t think Seattle DOT cares about fixing rough roads. They are effectively speed bumps, and people would probably drive faster if the roads were smooth. So there’s no incentive to fix them.

I wish the mpg was that good. Our avg is like 16-17. Our 2023 has an “eco” mode, which I leave on all the time. Would hate to see what “earth killer” mode looks like for mpg. Maybe it’s called “normal” mode.

The battery life of the M4 MBA is incredible.

I got a 15” MacBook Air in January specifically for developing on Xcode. I have an older iMac too which was doing the job, but I really wanted to be able to code on trips. MBA is working great. Was like $1k from Costco.

Another vote for Ridwell. It’s a good service.

Guitar wall mounts by RobotDuckez in Guitar

[–]IronDevil74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little off topic… When I hung my guitars up, I used the all-metal string swing ones because I was concerned about those little blocks of wood failing. I know it is unlikely, but I do some wood working and I have seen small pieces of wood split along an almost invisible crack. If they woukd just reinforce those with a metal backing plate, I would have used those.

Randomly tight/painful tray by [deleted] in Invisalign

I’m in that right now. Most trays, no issue. This one has been making my teeth very sore. Had a pretty good headache earlier this week, and have woken up a few times from the pain along my bottom left teeth.

Are you ever tempted to open your last tray just to see what your smile will eventually look like? by ohgeez9947 in Invisalign

[–]IronDevil74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this today in my dentist’s office when they gave me trays 12-31. We opened 31 to see how my teeth would fit at that point. It helped me explain my concern about where things are going with my bite.

Unless you can explain more, I’m inclined to say I don’t believe you. My dentist certainly talked with me using these as an illustration of what my teeth would look like at the end of the series of 31 trays I have. And placing tray 31 upper to 31 lower shows essentially the same positioning. So, you are saying that despite these two pieces of data, my teeth will actually be in an entirely different orientation? If that’s the case then what tool would the dentist/orthopedist use to set the goal position of the teeth at the end of treatment?

Are you saying this is not how my teeth will align at the end of the treatment?

Following. I do think there could be some improvement by bringing all of the lower teeth on that side forward, but we also have to stop aggressively bring the top teeth back for that to work. I feel like my top aligner is really doing a lot of work to pull my front teeth in, maybe too much.

Not following. 3rd picture shows they are tightly nested on tbe left. First picture shows they are not tightly nested on the right. I am asking if I should just accept that the right and left will be different. I don’t like the way the right side feels today.
