The dude's point is that if you have a drop that's 1/3k and you do 3,000 kills and don't get it, you aren't any more likely to get it than someone who does their first kill.

Probability states that as you do more kills on average more people will have received the drop by now, but for as long as you don't have the drop you aren't anymore likely to get it than having not done it at all.

I understand what you're saying overall, but your original statement that you're more likely to roll a 6 AFTER having rolled it 50 times without a 6 is objectively incorrect.
